At least here you won't be kicked out poor and homeless, you'll have permanent employment waiting for you with a very motivating environment.
Alice is always there observing the first changes, the shock never gets old as the realization hits about how things work. (She's really turned on by it but don't tell anyone you know...)
I wonder how long these dancers and other workers even last.
Judging by how quickly they grow you'd imagine they'd all be immobile in a matter of days.
The growth is probably a bit of a curve, so it slows down as it nears the point of immobility to really stretch out the struggle.
