The Road Ahead

TLDR: I have taken a new job with a studio and I will have to stop making public posts.  However, I can continue making games and do stealth releases.

Please forgive my recent silence.  By now you have probably worked out that something is going on.

I have been biding my time and considering my options before I shared anything with you.
Here is what has been going on.

The Good News

For the last month I have been working for a new game studio that is a pretty big player in the industry.

I am being recognised in my field and that allows me to work for bigger companies and further hone my game dev skills.

The Bad News

My new employer has a fierce non-compete clause in my contract.  Technically I am not allowed to work on anything other than projects for my employer.

This means, technically, that I cannot stream or share anything on my iLEWD channels.  Nor am I allowed to take income from anyone else. I believe this includes Patreon.

The Rub

Technically, I can still do stealth releases and take payment for games that I have already been released.

That means I can still work on Monster Girl Tailes, Bedroom Blackjack and Tiddy Tamer.

Because I cannot advertise or post about the releases you'll just have to watch for new versions that are shipped on itch.io and Steam.

More Good News

Engaging in social media and Patreon posts takes a whole lot of time.
Now that I don't have to spend time doing that I can spend more time actually making the game.

That alone should result in more content and features being shipped with each release.

I will be pausing Patreon pledges indefinitely from now onwards.

I will also be terminating the offer where patrons get 1 x key to the final release of Monster Girl Tailes of if they have a lifetime pledge of $20 USD or more.

I am sorry that I did not give you enough time to consider your lifetime pledge or give you the opportunity to pledge enough to qualify for the MGT key.
The circumstances did not allow me enough time to do so.

This is a temporary arrangement.  I will not work for this game studio forever.
I intend to emerge from the other side of this contract with more skill and experience that I can bring to the benefit of my games and your play experience.

This is is not death.  It's not even hibernation.  It's stealth.

I am aware that this has happened to other NSFW creators in the past and their channels did not survive.
I am committed to the community and I am determined to succeed where others have failed.
