IMPORTANT: Pressing Pause

TL;DR: I am having a baby and I am pausing billing.
I will continue to work on the games, but I want be doing posts and releases as often. 

If your really unhappy you can vote in the poll to get a refund. 

I am settling into my new job and I also have news.  I am expecting my first child in February.
Whaaaaat? 

You probably have some questions.

Why the secrecy?

Forgive me if it seems like I was hiding this from you.  The pregnancy has not been very smooth and there were a couple of times we thought it might not work out.

I chose not to share this with you in case the pregnancy was unsuccessful.

What does this mean?

For the next little while I will be focusing on caring for the new baby and supporting my wife.
That doesn't leave any time for game dev.

I am pushing hard to get out a release for Monster Girl Tailes and Bedroom Blackjack in early February.

If you have been patron for the month of January then you will receive a message with links to the releases.

What about my patronage?

I have decided to put the patron billing on hold until I can get back to some kind of normal working schedule.

You can remain a patron in the meantime and I won't charge you a cent.

How long?

I will probably not be doing much game dev for 1 x month.  

However, friends and family have advised that I may need as long as 3 x months before I get enough free time to do anything except work and care for baby.

What if I want a Refund?

I understand if you are disappointed by this news.  Afterall, it will impact the completion of the games and I won't be talking with you as much.    

If you'd like cancel/reduce your their pledge I wouldn't blame you.

If you're really unhappy and you'd like a refund for January then you can vote on the poll and I'll return your money. 

Is this the beginning of the end?

I want to be very clear and state that this changes nothing.

I am still passionate about making games and finishing what I started.

I am still doing exams for game dev certification and applying for game dev jobs so I can do this full time.

It will be challenging in the beginning, but nothing could make me give this up.
