Too many previews?
Added 2025-02-06 22:10:26 +0000 UTCI've gotten some feedback saying that releasing too many previews gives away much of my animations before they're finished. As much as I want to give my subscribers behind the scenes looks, I don't want to spoil my animations before they're out. What do you think? Should I cut down the number of previews I release on here for each project?

I would do one or two previews for the big stuff, it doesn't hurt. For those that find it annoying they can just not click on it. I guess the argument would still exist, that by seeing a thumbnail they are being spoiled knowing roughly what it will be on

2025-02-09 04:37:24 +0000 UTCPersonally, I think 2 previews are enough. (also this depends on the project length, I'm sure this video is under 3 minute yeah?)

2025-02-07 03:50:12 +0000 UTCI'd definitely say 3 or 4 previews are good! Though I guess always depending on the length and content of what it is. Like for example, I LOVE the preview of polar dropping the initial dump in his pants, but I think the two previews afterwards could've been saved for the full animation!

2025-02-07 00:47:09 +0000 UTCI love your previews bud, but leave some mystery to how the video goes cutie, cause if your putting out to many, your basically showing the whole vid in a way bud

2025-02-07 00:46:29 +0000 UTCI'll definitely still do previews, but I'm thinking of only previewing scenes in the beginning and middle, without giving away more than a third of the animation.

2025-02-06 22:28:22 +0000 UTCI loved all the previews for polar and wendell! But I get that some people wanted the rest of it to be a surprise too, maybe just do a few previews in the future?

2025-02-06 22:26:07 +0000 UTCI think a balance would be the best idea. Tease certain parts in the beginning and middle, but save the ending clips for the final release.

2025-02-06 22:14:54 +0000 UTCi think it'd be better to have a balance between previews + leaving some stuff as a surprise for the final product. but you could also argue that people who don't want to be "spoiled" could simply not look at the previews you post at the same time

2025-02-06 22:13:52 +0000 UTCThat's a very good idea. Perhaps I'll be sure not to give away more than a third of the animations' runtime.

2025-02-06 22:13:25 +0000 UTCI said no, I get the point but tbh I feel as if there are so many creators out there who just donβt care enough to even share any kind of update so I actually really appreciate them!πβ€οΈ

2025-02-06 22:12:06 +0000 UTCI think having maybe 3-4 would be enough and pretty precise too given the length of the clips.
