Backstage, Braun and Drew yell at each other, they both big league each other, Braun claims he’s gonna beat them both by himself. He tells T-Bar and Mace its now a handicap match.

Braun Strowman vs. T-Bar and Mace

Before too long, Mace and T-Bar get the upper hand

They ignore tag rules again, get DQ’d so it’s just a reverse of what happened here. God this is so bad. Drew runs down to make the save. I’m assuming this will turn into a tag match now.

Braun does his train thing, Drew accidentally clotheslines him, Dijak shoves Drew into the barricade, Drew can’t beat the ten count, Mace & T-Bar win

Miz/Elias/Ryker vs. New Day/Priest

Kofi gets isolated for awhile, Priest gets the hot tag, he cleans house, Xavier tags in, Elias hits knee on him for 2, Kofi gets in, Kofi drops Ryker with dropkick, Priest is legal, a bunch of stuff happens, Xavier rolls up Ryker, pretty fun finish, not gonna lie.

Backstage, Pearce asks Sonya what the hell

Sonya says I’m sorry- Pearce says I might accept that if I believed it.

Backstage, Pearce is snaking out on Sonya on the phone, Braun makes the pitch to Pearce, he wants Backlash to be a triple threat if he beats Drew. OR DO YOU NEED TO CHECK WITH SONYA FIRST? Pearce says ok.

Sheamus Open Challenge

Promo: I proved I’d be a fightin champion- last week Humberto added his name first to the list of names of dudes that tried to take my title. All those new muscles on that kid, he couldn’t do it. Last week after the successful debut of my open challenge, I have decided to do it again. If anyone want another shot, come out here, but just know, this won’t be on the line.

HUmberto shows up again, Sheamus cheap shots him, starts beating on him, he gets back on the mic, Berto attacks, sends him out of the ring JESUS huge suicide dive sends Sheamus over the table

Backstage, Lashley is told his Backlash match could be changed, MVP says we prefer to deal in reality, not hypotheticals. We have some grievances to address.

Rhea interview

I liked watching Char get fined 100K. Maybe our paths will cross one day. I’m looking forward to my match tonight.

Lashley promo: When I made Drew pass out, I commanded respect. But he’s like a piece of gum I can’t get rid of on my shoe. I have to defend against him again, but this time its a possibility this is a triple threat match.

MVP: Why would WWE treat their champion so poorly? Any decision must go through the champion. He has been the champ for 56 days and now you’re telling me it could be in jeopardy for a triple threat match? We saw this happen before with the US Title. Lashley could lose his title and not have a hand in the outcome? Unacceptable, unfair.

Lashley: After chasing this title for 16 years, no one will stop me, I will leave still WWE Champion.

Backstage, Randy says Riddle, I underestimated you, and you sorta earned my respect, and if we were ever gonna be a tag team, our name should be RKBro, I hate to admit, it is catchy. What do you say we give it a try? RIddle says I’m so down. He rambles a bit, Randy has him shut up, says if we win, we’ll talk about it.

Backstage, NIa complains about Char, Shayna says we need to lose the distractions, like Reginald. Then a PA gives Nia some flowers, they’re from Angel Garza. Nia then whacks Mandy with them.

MVP rolls up on Braun. Says Lashley doesn’t appreciate Braun grovelling to get a spot in the match. Braun gets mad, tells MVP to tell Lashley there’s nothing he can do about him taking his title at Backlash.

Orton & Riddle vs. Cedric & Shelton

Riddle gets his ass kicked as C&S work his knee/leg

He gets the hot tag into Randy, who goes off on Shelton

Randy gets off an RKO outta nowhere on Cedric who came flying in

RKO hits draping DDT as Riddle begs for a tag in, Orton reluctantly agrees, Riddle hits floating bro for the pin

Asuka/Lana/Naomi vs. Rhea/Shayna/Nia

Mid-match, Mandy and Dana come down, throw a pale of water at Shayna, Nia runs over and slips in it

After that, the match kicks up a notch, shit’s pretty fun

Reggie distracts Naomi, Rhea hits riptide on Naomi, but Lana had tagged in, Lana goes off on RHea for a second, but Rhea catches a funsplash attempt, Asuka gets taken out by Nia, Rhea hits Riptide, tags in NIa, who hits legdrop for 3

Backstage, Sonya tells Mandy she’s Char’s opponent for tonight

Alexa’s Playground:

Says something about having dark thoughts, then says Lilly Lilly Lilly.

Next picture something peaceful, take a deep breath, there’s stock footage of peaceful stuff, then Lilly jump scares the peaceful footage. Alexa laughs.

Out of commercial, Drew has Braun in a sleeper, he gets out, but Drew tosses him overhead

Drew tries a claymore, braun counters with a power bomb for 2
