Steve Notes Raw After Mania 37

Earlier today, Orange Lashley arrives, he’s congratulated by everyone, including Riddle, who rolls up, Lashley talks some shit, says he’s here to talk to the WWE Universe and celebrate his victory and that’s it. Riddle quotes Lashley’s words over the past few weeks verbatim with him talking about giving opportunities. Lashley smacks him down, says you’re a loser, and I’m a winner and I’ll show you the difference.

Lashley opens Raw with a promo, but first, Adnan Virk is introduced along with Graves, now on Raw.

Lashley vs. Riddle

Adnan starts out talking about Lashley wanting vengeance? He seems quickly shut down in his ear cuz he stops a thought mid-sentence.

Lashley just manhandles Riddle outside the ring, before the bell even rings.

In the ring, Riddle is getting killed. Adnan is good, he talks very fast. Lashley press slams Riddle over the barricade as we go to commercial.

Riddle gets in the bare minimum of offense in, but Lashley turns it around into a Hurt Lock to tap him out

SO here I am on raw after mania, I’d usually be smiling, but I wasn’t welcomed at Mania. I know what some of you are thinking, it’s just one mania, you’ve been to five. No, I am a franchise player, I am a genuine superstar and what I do is sacred. It wasn’t my fault for not being there, it was out of my control. Was it my fault Asuka needed a tag partner? My fault my Dad showed up acting a fool? Was it my fault Lacey got pregnant and I didn’t get to kick her ass? That opportunist Rhea challenged Asuka, defeated her a new champion crowned, out with the old, in with the new. BUt she wasn’t the only one thinking of opportunities. Charlotte won’t be there, this will be my opportunity. KUDOS to Rhea, you are the biggest snake in the locker room. Karma is a bitch, and I am that bitch. She rattles off every other name in the women’s div, no one compares to me. You know what I realized for the first time after seven years? I don’t steal opportunities, I am the opportunity. To all you delusional fans who think I steal opportunities, I am the opportunity. I am not apologizing for how good I am, bow down to the 13 time champ. No more humble Charlotte. Alexa’s on the swing, I bet you’re wondering what was going on- once upon a time, there was a little girl, she was rescued by the darkness, the darkness protected her, nurtured her, taught her everything she knew, but then the darkness went away. MAryse says right after Raw is the premiere of our show. Morrison pitches a pichoff with him in it. MIz says you’re in tonight’s episode, we don’t need a spinoff. He just talks about Miz and Mrs. Miz takes credit for BB’s success. Priest comes out, takes issue with this. Let me remind you of the headlines across the world, Bad Bunny beats MIz. Miz calls him jealous. Miz challenges him to a one on one. Morrison says he wants to fight him. They argue over who gets to fight him. Maryse says they can both fight him. He accepts the handicap match right now.

Miz/Morrison vs. Damian Priest

Priest hits south of heaven, morrison breaks it up, comes in, Priest takes him down

Miz tags in without Priest seeing it, he hits Lights Out on MOrrison, Miz comes in, Maryse prevents him from hitting his finish on Miz, Priest gets distracted by Maryse, Miz, undressed, cheat pins a rollup on Preist

Interview with Nia/Shayna, they show footage of what happened earlier

NIa says they attacked me to distract from her blooper, but after the beating we give them, no one is gonna be talking about mandy or dana

Nia and Shayna handle Dana, til she gets a tag in on Mandy, Shayna doesn’t notice, Mandy starts wrecking Shayna, Nia slips on her butt trying to get in and gets super pissed, so Mandy and Dana run off and get counted out

MVP says Drew took his eye off the prize for a second and that’s where he ended up finishing the match. Its ok to be number 2 if Lashley is #1. Its only a matter of time before Bobby applies the hurt lock. We saw Drew pass out. How do you think he feels today. Head held high? NO. He can barely hold his head up at all. He passed out from the pressure. If he can’t handle the pressure of the hurt lock. Who can handle the pressure of the hurt lock? No one.

Drew interrupts. I was hoping for Samoa Joe.

Elias has a song for Shane McMahon, he tries to strum, instead there’s a trombone, its the New Day

ND: You two have been embarrassing the tag division, at WM all you could do is catch braun’s hands, you should be ashamed of yourselves- SHAME SHAME SHAME!

Elias shoots back by clowning them for being tossed around by Omos and losing the tag titles.

Woods: Apparently what we have here is a failure to communicate. Kofi says this isn’t a game, it’s about you and how you brought shame on our tag division. Xavier says UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION! (Adventure time shoutout)
