Weekend in Big Bear
Added 2021-04-25 22:06:12 +0000 UTCThis weekend has been wonderful. Earlier in the week, I got a request to fill in as a makeup artist for a photoshoot event with Kat Attack photography. I was both excited and a bit nervous as I havenโt done glamour makeup in a very long time. Iโm not super fast with makeup as is, and doing 8 girls hair + makeup in one day is... a lot of pressure. ๐ Iโd intended to practice on Linda and a friend, but was too busy with work so I went into it having not done that kind of makeup on other people in... 1.5 years?
You guys.
I killed it.
I donโt brag about myself, and have had a hard time even taking compliments on my work, but yesterday was chef kiss after chef kiss! ๐คฉ I couldnโt believe how great I did with everyone and I think itโs the first time Iโve felt great about every single look I did, including on two extremely rude and difficult gals. (Iโm legitimately shocked that I even was able to work on them. Lol) Loved these two looks!:
I also played around a bit in some of Katโs lingerie and one of the girlsโ wigs.
It felt so good to be in an environment like this, where everyone is so supportive of each other.
I have some more fun shots to share with you all! Iโll try to get some posted on the next couple of days.
