What did salvos embellish when she was talking to Rachel? Is that just her inability to believe? Salvos is quite vain but she’s always painfully honest as far as I recall. Maybe it’s just impossible to believe how much salvos has been through.

Following Occam's Razor, the following points don't translate to reality: - A soul doesn't exist outside of the term describing emerging behavior of neuronal activity. - Beauty is just an aggregated description of procreative potential. - inner light, kindness, etc don't exist with the same caveat as the soul

It's a translation of her soul-nature to human form, in the same way in which [Universal Language Comprehension] translates her thoughts into human language. That's why other changelings always feel spooky and people get cold chills from them on a subconscious level, because their soul-nature translates into human form in such a way that all the subtle hints are translated as well. That's why Belzu felt nothing like Mori Gladius. Not only was Salvos the best shapeshifter in the world next to Samuel, to the point where she bled human blood and had to eat and sleep, her soul-nature was also translated into whichever mortal form she took, which is why Kobolds commented that her Kobold-form is stunningly beautiful, and her human form crushed every woman's self-confidence instantly, because not only was she inhumanly beautiful, she also radiated inner light, which in human instinctual genetic understanding of those things means that she's a supernatural being of divine kindness and goodness. It was not deception, it was the best possible translation of truth, into the form they can "read" best. Her true nature isn't horns and hooves, her true nature is "that something" that heals the souls of people who get in touch with her for any length of time. I think her eyes being the color of "lifefire, essence of soul" as Willy described it, is a good hint.

2024-06-11 10:06:20 +0000 UTCI just thought that the very fact that the Centinels and Regnorex were stopped by the barrier at Mavos academy is very comforting, because it means they are quite incompetent. I mean, the Devil could make a portal into the place from outside the Mortal Realm, and Salvos could as well. The fact that those two lvl 200+ entities have to resort to brute force and can't cut through the planes is a very good thing. It means their competence is more-less limited to brute force, making them very weak to Salvos' strengths. For instance, take them to the void between the planes and they are fucked.

2024-06-11 09:37:19 +0000 UTCFrom what I know every level in [Identification] is supposed to be able to allow you to inspect someone 10 levels higher than you and at the time of salvos inspecting the great aragus salvos could see up to 60 levels above her which was like lvl 225ish so she was just barely able to see it's level but Belphegor is obviously outside that limit, as for why rachel can see the name idk

I don't see anything else that makes sense with the nebular sword needing repair, and that mountain that's obviously a place where an entire people moved to the Spirit Plane. I think Edithe and her team might actually meet them there and that would be fun to read. :)

2024-06-10 21:53:05 +0000 UTCI think all these estimations on the potential time the barrier will hold ignore one crucial fact: some centinels can draw out corruption. They might have far less control than Salvos, but even just smacking some of it against the barrier will quickly change up the numbers. As such, I think the centinels aren't serious about destroying Mavos. They threaten Mavos to an end. And this end is probably drawing out Sal. My first guess was drawing out Salvos, but then I would have expected them to lay o n more pressure. Threatening Mavos is intended to get Salvos to show up (which she seemingly did as Sally, although the original doesn't know), make her go running to Sal out of fear, who comes to save her, allowing the centinels to kill him with Salvos and Mavos hostage to keep him from running. Once he is dead, they can kill Salvos for revenge. (And make Mavos their new nest.) That's my current theory at least. But Sally can give more insight if she wants.

I mean, yeah, they have a sage Centinel, a Krokodis and 3 baby Wyverns in the tower with their identities concealed because someone is lying to you, not because their lives are in danger because humans are full of prejudice and hatred. Also, she never picks up on any clues, and she never asks the right questions, such as "hey Rachel, do you know Salvos? When did you meet? Did you know she's a Demon? When did you find out? You mean, you played with her like two kids while she was in demon form? And the [Hero] was there with you and knew everything? And you knew he was a [Hero] while it was a secret?"
