Season's Greetings from Squid School!

My my, I cannot believe December is nearly over! This month always feels like such a whirlwind, but I try to soak up every joyous moment and take time to reflect on what I'm thankful for. I keep coming back to thinking of you all, my dear patrons. Many of you have been here since I launched in October, and others have found their way here through the November & December pattern releases. However you came to find yourself at Squid School, I want to send you a gigantic hug and a heartfelt thank you for enrolling.
At the beginning of 2021, I found myself working for a company that drained every ounce of my energy. What's worse is that it exhausted my creativity, which has always acted as my crutch during the difficult periods of life. The urge to make a change pushed the longstanding dream of opening Squid School to the forefront of my mind. Cut to four months later, and I've left an arduous job, found my creativity again, and now get to share it with over 500 (!!) of you. Each and every one of your pledges mean that I get to live my dream full time. Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the leap with me.
And on that note, I am currently putting together a very special treat for you all to celebrate reaching 500 patrons, so keep an eye out for that in the new year!
I won't be checking email Dec 24th & 25th, but next week will bring about our next KAL post as well as our monthly Assembly!

I haven't had time to actually make most of the patterns yet, but I plan on listening to the past couple of lectures in the next week or so, and have thoroughly enjoyed everything in this lovely School so far :D.
