Larissa, the woman in the tights, commissioned me to photograph Jette for a series of portraits to use as reference for her paintings. Larissa is an amazing painter. Jette is a very talented dancer. We shot Jette in several poses. I'm excited to share the series. The photos above are from the very end of our shoot. I pulled Larissa in and got her to play too. She is a natural and like many women I shoot, I feel like I can share that she expressed that it helped her feel empowered in her sensuality and femininity. It means the world that I get to create art with other people and it always seems to create a lot of confidence and self love for them because they can have fun, play, feel vulnerable but affirmed in their beauty and explore their sensuality, but all the while feel proud of what we are creating. I think that makes a difference and I'm happy to be a part of guiding that.
