Going forward, I will update the Zoom Link post for each month with the chat histories immediately following the assembly so you know where to find them. :)
For those of you interested in starting a book club, feel free to to use the comments section below to start things up! Both groups had some great book rec's. Have fun!

Please note that you will need to have a zoom account in order to join in. You can download the app to your computer or device for free! Sadly I can't post a link because it is different for each country, but if you type it into your favorite search engine, it should pop right up.
These assemblies are meant to be a fun, informal gathering space for us to get to know each other and knit together! Bring your knitting, get dressed up, and pour a cup of your favorite beverage if you like! See you all tomorrow. :)

So, I was recommending The Vampire Knitting Club by Nancy Warren, which Instagram pushed at me for weeks until I caved out of curiosity over that title. They are essentially murder mysteries but cosy, and are about as undistressing as possible for the genre, combining things like inheriting a knitting shop with romance, mystery, and a group of vampires who knit because they are bored. I now listen to the audiobooks while knitting or while doing boring housework like cleaning the shower.

2021-11-02 00:04:15 +0000 UTCI'm putting an alarm in for the next one - I thought I'd remember, but that was clearly a misguided notion :P Glad everyone had a lovely time!

2021-11-01 13:15:24 +0000 UTCAwwh, thank you so much Lucy. :) I had a great time too!
2021-10-31 17:39:28 +0000 UTCSydney, thank you so much for this, I was grinning almost the whole time. I hadn't realised how much I missed having other people to talk knitting with, and in a Large Group! I miss groups of people! And you were clearly very good at gently facilitating things for a group of strangers in a zoom meeting. Looking forward to the next one.
