IM SO GLAD THEY WENT FULL OUT FOR GORGEOUS TIGER!! Garf deserves that fight, the best fight in the series for sure. The second cour has been nonstop action and highlights of everyone and we still haven't finished all the fights. Garfiel was one of season 2's best characters and I'm glad he got another moment to shine in this arc. Can't believe Re Zero actually managed to get Vincent Chansard for that sequence. Get used to it, you will be seeing a lot of his sequences when you finally catch up to one piece! Yea, pretty sure Elsa is just ptsd/trauma for Garfiel. Garf was secluded his whole life in the Sanctuary and he ends up killing Elsa at the young age of only 14 on his first day out. Garfiel was scared of the outside world his entire life and was scared of death itself as his mother had "died" when leaving the Sanctuary. Garf also has never killed anyone in his human form before. When his in full tiger mode, he has little control of himself and acts like a wild animal(also the reason why he limits himself from using it). But when killing Elsa, he was fully conscious. I'm glad the author decided to show the mental toll of killing Elsa and Garf breaking through it in order to save his family.
