Thank you so much for the info! I do think that extra tidbits does definitely help make subaru seem more capable! Also most videos are recorded super in advance but these are only a few days so I am recording episodes 5-7 here shortly and will tell dean you said that!

His plan was since Sirius was at the top of the tower, he would use his whip to knock her down. Subaru caught Sirius off guard, however Sirius blocked it with her chains last second by having the whip wrap around them. Sirius was in shock and Subaru then rammed her down 60 ft using his whip. Subaru felt safe and went to untie Lusbel, however Sirius appears before him alive and the scene plays out like it did in the anime. Subaru fought and nearly killed Sirius in his first loop but the anime cut it out which just makes Subaru look dumb. The anime does this a lot and makes Subaru look more dumb than he actually is. For example, one of your complaints in season 2 is why Subaru didn't ask Echidna any questions. Well, in the light novel he asked her about the Archbishops and how to heal Rem. Echidna says she doesn’t know who they are since they appeared after her death. Her information is essentially outdated on the outside world so Subaru doesn't bother with more questions after that. For your question, I think Sirius as a team member would be easier to handle than Regulus. Both are bad but there is no stopping Regulus at all and he'll kill you instantly by either you making a tiny mistake or him blaming you for something that is out of your control. Also this season shows insane growth for Subaru. Last season, when something went wrong he would literally kill himself just to reset and start over, devaluing his life as a tool to save everyone. This season, instead of using return by death, he takes in the situation and tries finding a solution together with everyone. I know this is probably uploaded way later from the time record but give my wishes and prayers to meandean14 if you can, hope whatever their going through gets better or already is better.
