College NPCs progress report
Added 2018-05-18 14:43:32 +0000 UTCWhile we don't post as many news as we did last time, we still work just as hard. Our whole team is working on adding new NPCs into the game. Our writer is working on new dialogs, our translator is doing his thing, our designer is editing all images, I'm working on 3D and events, and our programmer is gluing all the pieces together.
That's a hard job with all kinds of surprises. For example, he had to work out a way to properly process your clicks on correct characters or objects when several sprites overlap one on top of another. I don't want to bore you with technical details, but we have worked out most of the problems.
Soon you'll be able to see all new NPCs in college. Students and teachers will start going to college and move between locations. There won't be any actual lessons yet (I'll tell you more about educational process in the future, there's enough to talk about in several posts), but you'll be able to interact with them.
The image above shows you aforementioned interaction screen. For now you'll only have "talk" and "meet" options, but we'll have more in the future. There will be "give a gift", "pickpocket", "take a photo" and more.
