Honestly trying to think of how Sawatari saw the beginning of this episode from her perspective without any context is hilarious lol. Like she must’ve just seen Aki on the verge of fainting from being choked, the Ghost devil stopping and choosing to drop him and hand him a cigarette, Aki walking up the Ghost devil’s back unimpeded and then beheading it. She had to have been like “WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?!?” Lmao

I guess by now you checked the Manga too, how the fight happened. And yeah... the Manga is way more straight forward. They really focused on making it more cinematic in the Anime, since Fujimoto is a big Movie Fan. I personally love it, some people complain that it's not like the Manga. The Trailer for Season 2 will probably be pretty Spoiler heavy, because it's pretty much going into over drive from here. Because I guess you can tell, if Chainsaw Man can do 1 thing, the 1 thing is "getting more crazy". But most people speculate that S2 probably will be 2024 or 2025, since Mappa has so many Anime in 2023. And the thing with "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse" is the Book that Aki's parents read his brother in one of the early Episodes. Since you played Cyberpunk it's kinda like what Dexter DeShawn ask's V, "Would you rather live in peace as Mr. Nobody, or go down for all times in a blaze of glory?" What comes next? Eminence in the Shadow? You said you heard many good things about it, and it's really good.
