Jey Uso comes out, says welcome to the BLOODLINE SHOW, drops a promo on Pearce, then says he’s gonna win the Rumble and beat Drew or whomever has the title on Raw. Before that, tho, he has business with Shinsuke. Praised his performance in the gauntlet. Jey is so sweaty and comes off as desperate and rambling.

Shinsuke: If your cousin is the big dog, that makes you his little puppy lol then kicks Jey.

After the match, Cesaro raises Nakamura’s hand, hugs him, celebrates

Sonya and Pearce chat, Heyman brings over the contract- puts over how big the opportunity is, not only is this a match for the Universal Title, it’s a no-DQ match. Pearce says this doesn’t benefit me, it only sees me getting injured. He signs it.

Jey is pissed backstage at Lil Naitch, threatens his job.

Reigns is giving Crews a pep talk!!! Paul brings the contract back, Apollo motions to leave, Roman says stay, you can learn from this. Paul says Pearce signed it, no DQ. Roman said he never wanted that. He wants a last man standing match. Have him sign it. Paul says he won’t. Roman says he considers it handled.

Backstage, Pearce asks Heyman if he’s signed the contract yet. Heyman tries to frame it like it makes Pearce look good to management, he reveals Roman wants Last Man Standing. Pearce says it’s ridiculous. Heyman says look it over, you can express your concerns to Roman in the ring TONIGHT.

Rey and Dom talk backstage about stuff, Rey says you wanna fight Corbin? I know who we can talk to.

Bayley has some ridiculous glasses on.

Bianca comes down, Bayley makes her ring the doorbell. Bianca sits in Bayley’s seat. Bayley rolls footage of a “sneak preview” of the Rumble, and it’s Bayley putting Bianca in a submission.

She tries to explain it’s for her accomplishments, Bayley calls her out and says it’s disrespectful to others, Bianca says she’s just being unapologetically herself. Bayley challenges her to an obstacle course.

Bryan/Otis/Gable train with hip thrusts, then INTERVIEW- Bryan says if training in the Alpha Academy makes him even a small bit better, he’ll be happy. He has respect for Shinsuke, he’s a royal rumble winner, he’s sure Shin feels the same. Cesaro interrupts, says Shin only shook his hand cuz he felt sorry for him, mocks the alpha training. Bryan challenges him to a match.

This is so great, bryan comes off the top for a fun splash on Cesaro, then hits head kicks on Cesaro, til he ducks and Bryan hits the ring post COMMERCIA CLIFFHANGER

Back from commercial, Bryan gets CEsaro in Yes Lock, Cesaro powers out, hits SWING

Another Yes lock, CEsaro gets hit foot on rope for break

Cesaro muscles a crazy vertical suplex off ropes, gets 2

CEsaro goes for neutralizer, bryan gets out, hits yes kick, goes for running knee, eats a european uppercut, hits neutralizer for win

Says Sasha is hiding form her, Sasha rushes her, pushes her down- Sasha says Carmella can have a title match, as long as she can have the sommelier in a match first. Carmella agrees.

Apollo vs. Sami Zayn, Big E on a couch at ringside

They have the sideline camera here on smackdown it’s so weird

Sami gets a handful of tights for a rollup, ref catches him, then hits exploder on Apollo

Apollo then wins with a handful of tights!

After the match, Apollo grabs the title off E’s couch, throws it back at him, they jaw jack

Contract Signing

Pearce sits down at the table, but he’s on the wrong side. Jey ushers him up, he sits on the other side. Roman is at the head. Pearce signs. Hands it over. Roman signs. Tells Pearce, this is the last contract you’ll ever sign. PEarce: I’ve waited all night for you to do that. He starts to leave. ROman is confused. He starts limping. Says my knee is bugging me all day long. One of those injuries that creeps up on you at the worst possible time. Don’t worry, as you all know, standard wwe contracts say the same thing, Card subject to change. And as a WWE official, I can find a suitable replacement. And in fact, a suitable replacement is just what I have in mind. KEVIN OWENS.
