2022-05-22 00:20:13 +0000 UTCActually SHARP physical attacks do work against Luffy, he's only immune to BLUNT physical attacks (i.e hammer/mace, fists, and also guns given they use the musket ball type ammo rather than modern piercing rounds etc), which makes sense since he's rubber. He's pretty much got same immunities that rubber does as a substance (altho some of it is cartoonified cuz that's the kind of series One Piece is in case it's not obvious by the character design variety itself). Oh right so in theory Luffy is also immune to some types of explosives as well, depending on whether they are purely focused on shockwave type effect or if they have shrapnel inside them. For something that's 100% concussive, he can negate that just like w/ blunt attacks rly

BTW there are like 1000+ devil fruits right now and even people that are caught up with the manga dont know what exactly they are and where they come from cause the people that are caught up to the manga will know what i mean when i say some devil fruits are not what they appear to be
