Worth noting that at the end of ep 11 with the hard music and the guy saying he’s going to kill all the women and children and nobles and elderly, it showed a picture of fredarica, the little girl just introduced, also, at the end of episode 12 it was her who said “kiri” not shin

It’ll all be explained in the coming episodes regarding some of your questions and theories, granted it’ll be in that ‘show not tell’ aspect this series just loves to do. Regarding how Shin and co. survive? It is explained…in brief hints here and there, but not obviously pointed out. If you don’t mind spoilers, I could explain the circumstances that led them to getting to the Federacy, but watch for now and see if you can connect the dots. This second cour will definitely be different compared to the first, and I hope you’ll enjoy it just as much as you did with the prequel.
