2022-02-18 23:44:25 +0000 UTCsomeone doesn't have to have god in there name to be among the 7 great powers it just so happens that in the current grouping of the 7 great powers technique god dragon god fighting god demon god death god sword god and north god they all have the title of god for example the water god isn't part of the 7 great powers god simply just refers to the strongest of said race/style and with the 3 fighting styles being sword god, north god and water god styles so a sword emperor or so might be more powerful than a water god even though one is a god and the other isn't just because the current iteration of the sword god could be extremely close in power to the second strongest sword god style user meaning they both might be stronger than the water god also side note the 7 great powers are automatically updated by some magic to reflect the 7 strongest people in the world so if someone new gets strong enough to be apart of the 7 great powers it should automatically update on the stones dotted around the world this means that there is no allegiances between any of the 7 great powers just because they are apart of the 7 great powers infact they might never meet each other ever in there lives

2022-02-17 22:48:51 +0000 UTCWell to be fair Ruijerd was talking completely out of fear and not because there was any kind of actual reason to not talk to Orsted, he basically did to Orsted what the whole world does to him. There was no actual hostility or threat coming from Orsted until the Man God came up, so the whole situation would just be really confusing to Rudy, and without the Man God coming up Orsted would have just turned around and went his way after Rudy asked his question. Also, there is actually no difference between Blessed and Cursed children, those with useful powers get called blessed and those with negative powers get called cursed but in essence it's the same. Pilemon Notos Greyrat is Pauls Brother and head of the Notos family. According to what Rudy heard from the Boreas family he is even scummier than Paul. A concubine is basically a lover for a noble, they sleep with them and that’s it. In context Eris would be basically sold as a sex toy “for the sake of the Fittoria region” if they went with that. As for Eris not properly telling Rudy what is going on, it’s a matter of her being bad at expressing herself and her admiration for Rudy blinding her to his weaknesses. Eris knows that if she told Rudy straight up, he would talk her out of it, so she decided to write a letter. It didn’t even come to her mind that he might not understand her intention, she was completely convinced that letter would be enough for Rudy to understand. To her Rudy interpreting it as being his fault and not understanding why she left wasn’t even an option. BTW in March, I think it was on the 16th , an OVA for MT will be released covering Eris goblin Slayer chapter that was skipped in the anime, it sounds like it’s just random fluff and maybe some world building but it actually introduces some important characters.

2022-02-17 21:39:53 +0000 UTCAlso, idk if you picked up on it, but Orsted’s curse of fear is pretty much the whole reason Rudeus spoke up to him in the first place. Basically, if you try to place yourself in Rudy’s shoes and imagine what that situation was like: he was just walking with his 2 friends and all of a sudden they’re just shitting themselves over 2 passerby’s. Not only are they terrified, their bull even pulls itself away and kills itself by jumping off a cliff, it’s so mortified. So seeing all of that, but not having Orsted’s curse affect him or make him fearful at all, left Rudy confused as fuck about why they were all so afraid when these people just walked past like they didn’t even exist. You can definitely blame him a little bit just for letting his curiosity get the best of him, but regardless of whether Ruijerd told you to stay quiet in that moment or not, he’d still be confused as all hell and 9.9/10 times start asking questions to try to figure out what the hell’s going on lol. Like the majority of normal people would.

They didn't show very clear in the anime, but in LN Rudy feels that Orsted is very happy to encounter Ruijerd, and Orsted has some "man-god" like aura, so he decides to ask some questions about his family. Unlike man god, Orsted shows no interest in him, he is glad they finally have some common topic, that's why he immediately admit he knows the man god.

Just a little fun fact: to further show and make it abundantly clear how OP Orsted is, during that super fast part of the fight scene where Ruijerd is stabbing his spear at him over and over again, they animated Ruijerd’s motion at around 12 FPS and kept Orsted’s movements to the anime usual of around 24 FPS. just to more visually highlight the gap between their respective strength. Such a cool thing to do
