Patreon's New Fee Policy
Added 2017-12-07 19:10:51 +0000 UTCEarlier today, Patreon announced a plan to start charging Patrons an additional 2.9% fee plus $0.35 per transaction. We were not aware this was in the works, we were not consulted about this, as we do not believe any Patreon creators were. WE ARE NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AT ALL, and plan on letting Patreon know about it ASAP. We do NOT condone placing the onus of Patreon's adminstrative fees on the Patrons, and plan on making that clear to Patreon. We have also discussed lowering our Patreon reward tiers commensurate with the new shift in policy. We wanted to address our amazing friendos in the Patreon community first, and simply say that we would not blame anyone for canceling their Patreon pledge due to this change in policy. There are many ways to support Going in Raw, and although Patreon has been a fruitful one in the face of the recent YouTube monetization issues, we completely understand if this is a game-changer for our Patrons. We hope that if the Patreon creator community kicks up enough of a fuss, they will reverse course on this unfortunate decision.

Most of us like me, like how much we give and we have a budgets. Just the little things make people leave. But I will always support you guys

I say you guys do what you feel is right. Personally I would be happy with the tiers moving down one But at the same time Idk if it’d be fair to the guys paying higher amount. Up to you friendos!
