BT21 Universe 1 - Episode 3 and 4

I'm a mom ARMY and Jimin is my bias and I'm not at all ashamed to say I have several Chimmy things and a few Cooky things and then at least one of the others. After watching this entire series and seeing what the thought that went into each character I fell in love. They really do represent the members.

I have a LINE Friends store recently opened in my area but soon after it was semi lockdown for us.. so it's not opened yet until the measure eased later in June. I'll head over to the store once it opens.. my fingers itchy to grab just something..

Thank you for sticking up for me, Nadia! I honestly didn't mean to cause an argument. I really think what happened is that there was a misunderstanding. I think Su Yeun misunderstood me as being rude. (I think they thought I was saying, "there are tons of characters like Chimmy/RJ/Shooky" when what I was saying is that there is LOTS of merch available for those characters, so you should totally buy some) -- I explained in my Korean comment to them that I like all of BT21, but that it's a bit expensive and so I haven't been able to buy all of the merch yet. 근데 김수연님 오늘 제가 침미 인형을 샀어요. 언젠가는 RJ와 슈키도 가지고 있고 싶어요. :)

i used "they" because i don't know which pronouns kymmie uses. bt21 merch might be easy to buy for YOU but that's not how it is for everyone. one small-sized bt21 plushie costs me about $40. $40x8= $320, do you realize how expensive that is? check your privilege.

Not really, depends on the country :) But yes, TATA is mostly doing pretty well because he's the narrator of the BT21 story. Chimmy and RJ are doing pretty well here in Singapore too :)

Wow 😂 I didn't mean to upset anybody. I was commenting that there are still some characters whose merchandise I do not own. Not because I don't like them but because it is expensive to have BT21 items shipped to the U.S. Some people can't afford a to just buy tons of merch. One day I'll have Chimmy, Shooky & RJ merch.

It terms of sales, Tae and Jin’s characters are the most sought after, and always running out of stock, but all the BT21 characters are very popular! They have their own universe and backstories now too. Cartoons, clothing, accessories, plushies, POP figurines, etc. Tae and Jin’s characters have even been spotted in Kdramas lol! I have so many BT21 merchandise lmao and even named my cat after one of the characters. I’m excited to see you delve into the creative process even more (since BTS are on their third season of LINE BT21 vids), and maybe even react to some of the cute videos of the characters.

There are a tons of stuff chimmy characters? Where is it? You mean Jimin's character is not popular, right? I've never heard of this before. Chimmy is one of the most popular characters among bts characters. It's hard to get even in Korea. And I wonder there are so many chimmy character , why didn't you buy them? I know why, of course. Whatever Don't talk like that. RJ and Shookie are also popular too. Everybody says their bias character is most popular. I can understand that.. But real army don't say like you. BT21 products are extremely popular. Because even if you are not a fan of BTS, the BT21 characters are loveable and attract many people to visit Line store cafes. I usually go to Itaewon's Line cafe. Tata and Chimmy (Taehyung's and Jimin's) seem to be the most popular there at that time.

The Koala: Koya is doing great. His sleep playlist is a constant in my life and the comments under it warm my soul. I actually saw BT21 stuff everywhere here in Japan for a long time before I ever knew it was affiliated with BTS and people use them ( stickers, dolls, clothes etc.) without knowing the origin so they are definitely popular products without any BTS affiliation.

All the characters products sell like crazy so there's no unpopular one really 😂 everyone just tends to be biased towards their favorite member so that's why people say different ones are the most popular, the truth is all of them are lol

Something tells me that it will probably be a feline if I refer to the pictures behind you and who knows maybe one day it will become concrete and commercialized everywhere like BT21 ... BT21 is famous! Every ARMY wants BT21. I’ve been trying to get an RJ for so long and it’s ALWAYS so hard to get. I love them all but Chimmy with his chubby face is adorable. And his back story is so sweet.

I'm older ARMY but I still love them all. I have RJ and Mang stuff and one Tata. Hot Topic sells shirts and stuffed characters. I have a Halloween shirt w/all of them. My daughter and I got to visit the Line Friends store in LA last summer. It was a lot of fun. Nice how they created this universe that is positive and everyone can enjoy💜. Koya is pretty popular too! I have the pouch, headband, face mask, a baby koya doll and these are only one character... I have every character as for the things I use like my tata airpod case, tata bottle, mang bag, etc... I spent so much on these characters without even realizing it for 2 years 😂 I think everyone else is the same as me

Jin's character RJ is so hard to get because it is always sold out, fans complained to the line stores about it and the employes said that since its the most popular character it gets sold out in seconds and they will produce more quantity of RJ from now on. RJ appears in many TV shows/ movies in Korea so i guess it's a very known character. TBH all the characters are really popular but I personally love RM's character koya and JK's character cooky a lot.

They will explain the BT21 name later in the episodes, it basically means “BangTan” and “21st century” :) and actually every single character is popular, some may sell out before others but eventually everything sells out 😭

'BT21' is the name that was made by BTS members for this set of characters they've created. So you probably noticed a number 21. The number 21 means century, so they added this number to their group name, basically it stands as BTCentury.” You can actually see the thought process of how they came up with these names in later parts of the episodes and in season 2. :)
