It was really interesting to watch how the boys handled a tense and awkward situation that could've caused serious problems. From someone who didn't have a lot of positive role models growing up, it was nice to see how it should be done. Thanks BTS.

2020-11-04 18:50:39 +0000 UTCAloha, DT - a follow-up on BTS feeding each other. I've seen videos on "foreigners" in Korea commenting on the food sharing. When people in Korea say they want a bite, basically they want your meal. Conversely, they will also give you their meal. You'll notice BTS basically sharing their meals and not getting bent out of shape about it. On J-Hope's VLive, Taehyung comes in and basically eats the rest of his steak and Hobi is totally fine with it - what's mine is yours. They do sometimes "ask" before taking (not always), most times it's just cut/eat. When BTS gets ravenous, step aside. RM said his stomach starts to hurt and everybody gets hangry. Afterwards, they're all happy happy joy joy (I see Taehyung pointing up in the air).

2020-11-04 18:39:10 +0000 UTCI haven't read other viewer comments but you may have become more aware of the importance of age in Korean culture and how that factors within BTS, how some members call each other hyung and why others do not. For example, the age difference between Jin and Taehyung is significant, so Jimin pointing out why V had an attitude when speaking toward Jin is something of note. Also, if you haven't already noticed, Taehyung is a special member to all other members, and is especially adored. When he acted in Hwarang, his co-stars were also especially caring and kind to Taehyung. And to ARMY, there is actual data that V is the most globally searched for member in the group. There's just something extraordinary about Taehyung above and beyond the incredibleness of each member in BTS that can't be defined. As you've watched all the Bon Voyage episodes and are well into the Run BTS series, you'll know what I mean. If you get a chance, watch the Break the Silence series too. I'll catch your reactions to In the Soop, which also had a lot of lovely moments (I won't spoil it for you!).

Also when you forget to turn the subtitles on just rewind and watch from the beginning. It was still in the beginning so it wouldn't bother your viewers. That's at least what I think.

Definitely Bangtan didnt start like this & they do need guidance in all aspects esp being someone in that field. I like how he guided them knowing how tight & cruel the competition in KPop world. He make sure that their foundation is strong enough to go forward to reach their dreams. It is not just a battle of talents & skills but also an emotional & mental battle too.

I am married to a man from South Korea and he has non of these skills for resolving conflict. In fact, I am going to show him this episode so he can see that men from his own country are doing this. This definitely needs to be taught especially to men. Generally speaking, more women come by this method naturally.

2020-03-01 21:38:16 +0000 UTCUsually the companies will say "don't fight, just ignore it, do it for the team" in an effort for the group to look perfect together, to look like they're all getting along. but Mr.Bang said "It's okay to fight, you can even punch each other, I don't care. But you 7 have to fix it afterwars. I don't care if it was 2 of you who fight, all 7 are to sit down and solve it" and then afterwards they'd all go to Mr.Bang's office and tell him, why they fought and how they solved it. Mr.Bang thought they were kind of like kids who reported their days ahhaha. But yeah, they fight it out, it's better than to hold it in and let negative thoughts grow.

2020-02-20 00:50:05 +0000 UTCI recently tried to have a talk with my guy friends because Iâve been worried about them a lot. They seem fine talking to me about deep issues but I noticed that they donât really talk to their guy friends, whom theyâve known since middle school, about their deep problems. All they do is joke and play around. I told them that it seemed unhealthy and that you should be able to talk to your friends and work out any issues you may have together. But to them, that sounds unfathomable and now theyâre so stuck in their ways, certain things will remain unresolved. Itâs hard, I understand that. But once you set aside your ego, your pride, just for a bit to connect to your loved ones and listen, youâll actually become closer and find some peace of mind. Weâre all getting older no matter what and soon youâll learn that holding on to grudges and anger just ainât worth it. Anyways, that being said, I keep a small book about Mr. Rogers on my desk at work to remind myself about some of the things heâs said or taught. I remember he had many episodes where he emphasized the importance of communication and talking about your feelings. It helped a lot, even now as an adult.

I remember when I had a fight with my best friend in high school...at that time our friendship was only a year old, and we had conflict because she was kinda mean without intentionally meaning too but it put a lot of stress on me...I'd been bullied growing up so now that I was older, I had learnt to just cut people out who hurt me. I ended up 'breaking up' with her in a very public manner, which I regretted, and she was hurt. But two days later she came to me and said she wanted to talk about it, so we did and I ended up telling her how she was hurting me and how that made me feel as a friend. We realised that without saying how we felt, we'd never know anything about each other. Our first fight brought us closer. Now we've been friends for seven years and she's family to me.

That fight brought me to tears when I first watched! Tae was so upset that made my heart ache!! I think the stress and the full routine on tours can make anyone out of his mind, and hypersensitive to issues like that. But Iâm always proud of how the boys deal with all that

2020-02-17 03:55:51 +0000 UTCI've seen a separate video that explains a bit better about the choreo that they were arguing about and why Tae decided to bring it up. They did show the choreo at the end, where Tae walks away from the group and kneels down and Jin walks over to him. Because they have to run over and rejoin the rest of the group, the timin is critical. Tae signals to Jin when to turn and run and Jin has to run faster than Tae so that they both get to where they need to be in time. In the previous concert that they'd done, Tae had stepped further away from the others than he had realized and Jin had trouble getting to where he was supposed to be and that, in turn, caused Tae a slight problem. Tae brought it up because he was concerned about that happening again. There is actually a bit more to the resolution of the fight, but I'm not sure if it's addressed in the remaining episodes of Burn the Stage or not, since I haven't seen them yet and I don't want to spoil anything. If it doesn't come up, I'll fill you in after you've reacted to the last episodes. If you haven't already found out what happened for yourself, anyway. Thanks for the reactions. I always enjoy how much you truly respect and admire BTS. Your reactions are very genuine and the main reason why I subscribed.

Season 3 and 4 is the best for me because they already have experienced, but Season 1 is so funny, they are so careless and clumsy. Bon Voyage is a reality show about BTS traveling alone and taking care of themselves (without managers) so beyond the filming crew.

Anything thing, I wish you could know it's fine to rewind if either you miss things, or forgot to turn on the subtitles. we'd rather see you rewind/pause than to miss information

Of all the members, he was the one that spent the least amount of time as a trainee, having been added to BTS a year before they debuted. So his vocal training wasn't as extensive as the others, who had years of training to get ready. Even now, his voice is very fragile and delicate, though that is part of what makes it beautiful to me. Because it is so sweet, tender, and delicate, I just love that wispy quality to his voice. But that is also what makes it so hard to control.

Then watch DKDKTV 'Baepsae Explained' video to get the rough meaning of it because the song is more political than you think and has multiple layers of meaning. NOTE: You'll love it - it's in my top 5 fav songs by BTS.

2020-02-16 04:32:18 +0000 UTCIt was confirmed by PD Bang (CEO of Bighit), that whenever the boys have a fight - all seven of them comes together to resolve the issue, even if the fight is only between two members. Because they're a team everyone must be involved. Then afterwards, PD Bang said that they would come to him and explained the problem and then tell him how they resolved it - he mentioned that this really made him feel warm that his boys could solve thing on their own. From what I know, BTS don't really have fights anymore - they're at the stage in their nearly decade long relationship where they understand each other so well that fights are resolved before they even begin. NOTE: They've hinted that the biggest fight they've ever had was about food - the mysterious 'black bean noodle incident'. To this day they've never explained what happen. Jimin said that it was hilarious in hindsight and they're saving up the story to tell in a variety show should the opportunity come up.

2020-02-16 04:30:12 +0000 UTCTheir CEO hitman Bang once said in a public forum that he told BTS not to get scared of getting into fights and that if they get angry,then fight. BTS were taught that conflicts grow because of the fear to get in the fight. However,all 7 of them has to resolve everything together even though only 2 members are involved. Later on Hitman Bang said he was so touched because even when they fight over something so childish,all 7 of them come to him in a line and tells him that they fought and how it was resolved. So I want to give Hitman Bang some credit on how the boys are as a group and as individuals. Iâm not a company stan but I respect and admire how Hitman Bang manages his talents compared to other agencies in Korea.

2020-02-16 03:21:16 +0000 UTCSome of the context of the "fight" was lost in cultural translation. Tae wasn't granting Jin the respect he should have culturally as an 'elder.' Jin is usually so laid back that the younger ones can be seen as taking advantage of his good nature. Tae didn't back down, but was called on it by Jin. My Korean friends we actually very surprised by how Tae wouldn't back down with Jin and it was a weird cultural moment to realize that these guys who are only 3 years apart in age are still expected to adhere to the cultural elder/younger hierarchy.

That they can be supportive of one another and deal with conflicts openly and constructively with descending into bullying or being disrespectful of another is so healthy.

By and large, being in touch with your emotions *and* how to express them in a useful fashion, is considered a female trait, and disparagingly so, to boot. Angry women are considered bossy, hysterical or trying to be manly. It's not good that so many parts of the world have internalized the concept that certain types of feelings, and discourse belong to specific genders. After all, emotions regardless of who has them, are universal. Teaching people that *all* people, regardless of their gender, should be able to cry, yell, or talk about how they feel with *anyone* who cares enough to listen, would help cure so many ills in the world, IMHO.

2020-02-16 01:59:46 +0000 UTCActually the skinship thing may be true to some extent but the sharing of feelings that and that vulnerability that they show and that closeness that they portray is uniquely them, crying on camera and not being scared to show each other how they feel is unique to them and that's been discussed by a Korean academic expert professor lee. She talks about it on the radio and even at her lectures, how BTS is changing the definition of masculinity in Korea and all over the world. So all of it is not due solely to culture.

But there are also kpop groups out there don't get along well with their own bandmates in private. So, mostly I'd view the way bts resolve the problems as the trait of this group and the members individually. A constructive advise for you, sometimes when you talked and looked away without pausing the video, you missed some important stuff. Feel free to pause and talk as much as you want to đ

You arenât able to share your feelings guy tot guy without being called gay or being called weak or a girl. Itâs very different here in the US than it is in Korea, theyâre more affectionate and comfortable and donât even question if the other one is gay or whatever. Just two very different mind sets when it comes to the US and Korea

You can learn to sing, the way you can exercise the muscles in your body, you can train your voice and strengthen it. Itâs incredible but many people say thatâs possible, you donât have to be born with singing talent.

2020-02-16 00:08:34 +0000 UTCYouâve watched it now so I can comment! I just thought it was weird how people were like warning you about drama. Like...this isnât drama. Tensions were high and there was a misunderstanding and it SUPER cool to see how they resolve issues. But like this is normal and not dramatic. You can catch towards the end how they were happy the argument that got caught on camera was at least about something important like choreography and not something more trivial. We know theyâve had big âfights đâ about who gets the last banana or the music being too loud in the dorm. But over all these are just normal spats that happen when you live with anyone for any amount of time. The fact they go above and beyond to resolve such issues just shows, not only maturity, but also how dedicated they all are towards a common goal. They are so dedicated to this thing of BTS that they refuse to let any small issue or resentment go unaddressed in case it hinders their teamwork and eventually the common goal. Itâs not drama to get cringe about or to gossip about. Itâs just to show part of what makes them one of the greats

For example skinship between men is very much accepted in Korea thatâs why the guys are so comfortable with each other. In I think western society and many other countryâs people will immediately say something along the lines of its gay or the question will be do you like him? Whilst they are just friends. So many things make BTS special and this is definitely one of the reasons.
