What are long-term Investments?

Long-term investments are recommended buys with strong price increase potential but also increased hold time. We will make sure to give a few long-term investments every month. This isn't a typical guide explaining the market, but a guide to explain what advice I give in some channels. 

Risk/Reward

The risk/reward will always be on the post but you can expect more low-risk and medium to high-profit posts. These are low-risk most of the time because I don’t expect them to go any lower than our post. Some of them could even be near discard prices which reduces the risk even further. The profit potential is usually posted next to it too. 

As an example, I posted Butland Winter Wildcard for around 30k at the end of December and he doubled in around a month. The initial hold time was a few weeks but I gave the warning that it could be a bit longer too. I will make sure to highlight this in future posts just like I did with Butland too. 

Opportunity Cost

When I talk about long-term Investments I also have to talk about Opportunity Costs and potential hold times. 

I think it's clear that you have to expect some longer hold times and that you could end up missing out on other buys. That’s very common for this method and worst case you don’t even make a profit from your long-term Investment while everyone else is continuing the grind.

The alternative would be a club stock and I recommend doing a club stock on almost every long-term Buy. That’s something I do myself a lot and it keeps me in the loop for many other trades while still making money on my long-term buy. 

If you decide to stick all your coins into these long-term buys you have to accept to hold for at least a few weeks. You will also miss out on other profits from other trades, which is sadly unavoidable.
