Rush Trading
Added 2023-09-18 13:01:17 +0000 UTCWhat is Rush Trading?
Rush Trading is the idea to buy cards shortly after the content release. It's important to know that this method is very intuitive and not a method that allows you to think for hours. Some days you have less than a minute to decide your buys before the prices start rising.
The only real risk is buying the wrong cards, however, after some time you will get an idea of what's needed and what's not. The faster and more experienced you are the better the profits are.
There are safe routes such as "discard gold cards" instead of the more expensive and riskier cards. These cheaper options usually have almost no risk but are also tougher to make a profit on.
Examples of Rush Trading
Rush Trading is useful almost every week. There are different content releases you can focus on, and I will show you some of the most profitable examples.
Marquee Matchup
Every Thursday we get Marquee Matchups and these sometimes require multiple cards from a specific club, these can get up to 2-4k in the first hour. Buying them just less than a minute after release is a way of Rush Trading. You set yourself in a position with very likely profits but a short buy window.
The best is to have a list of potential cards prepared and have one of the filters ready to go. I will make sure to post some rush trading too but it's usually a bit too late when I post them.
Objectives
Some weeks we get Objectives with specific requirements about cards being used and these can rise the same as the Marquee Matchup cards. You can also rush to buy them after the release.
The advantage here is that we usually have a larger buying window. We rarely get great objectives with specific requirements and that makes this super profitable.
Out of Pack
This is very common for TOTW and Promo squads. It's possible that we get cards in the TOTW or Promo which aren’t leaked before and these have a small buy window after 6 pm. This is slightly riskier as people usually know the releases and some cards are most likely already too high but if they aren’t it’s a great opportunity for Rush Trading.
In most cases, we recommend selling any Out-of-Pack Rush buys after the first few minutes as this has been one of the most popular Rush Trading options for the past couple of years. Holding is riskier and I would recommend asking us before holding cards.
Preparation
As mentioned with the Marquee Matchups, sometimes Rush Trading also allows you to prepare things before the release at 6 p.m.
If there are rumors but no confirmation for something specific then you can prepare yourself before 6 pm and decide based on the news we get at 6 pm. That usually allows you to be a bit faster than other people and make a profit.
We aim to be on time with our announcements and bots in case anyone wants to try some Rush Trading.
Summary
- A method with less risk but a very short buy time
- Useful every week
- Prepare yourself if possible
