An Important Poll
Added 2024-11-25 18:49:29 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I have been preparing for the release of the playblast and it is practically ready but there has been a change in my mind that I couldn't decide whether I should or not do. I decided that it would be the best to ask you rather than decide on my own.
As you know, currently, starting from lowest tier, all tiers have "soundless release" benefit. Current release track is:
Playblast > soundless final release > final release (with sound)
I thought about whether I should deal with the sound design job from the get go or not. If you prefer having sound in all versions including playblasts, I can most certainly do that.
The problem (?) is that it will affect the release schedules of playblasts and final releases in the opposite ways. Normally, I share the playblast the moment it is ready and I share the soundless final version the moment render finishes. I usually deal with the sound design in few days but there happens to be the times I'm busy with my actual job so it is a variable.
The question is,
would you like me to add sounds in Playblasts and discard "soundless" releases?
Would you prefer having sounds in all the iterations instead of few days of earlier soundless releases?
If you agree, this will delay the usual release time of Playblasts but shorten the final release time as the sound will be ready by the time it is processed.
This poll is open to both tiers as I want to see the general consensus rather than following the most votes.
