I really wish ppl would stop calling stalkers and casual fans as Army. Army do not swarm the guys, we don’t track their location or show up at unofficial/unannounced events, we don’t take pics/video of them outside of public events (concerts, fan meets, etc are public) - we don’t even share or spread the images stalkers take that the guys didn’t consent to, we don’t approach them bc we RESPECT their personal space and time. most Army will say if they ever see BTS in person they will run the other way. Casual fans and stalkers do all the things you keep saying Army do, like swarming them, tracking, or going crazy. I get that the K-pop fandom it’s a different culture of its own and honestly, Army is different even from K-pop fandoms bc we actually respect our artists and treat them like humans - but people outside the fandom or new to it keep lumping actual Army with stalkers and casual fans who don’t respect the guys. I really hope y’all get the chance to watch some videos of actual Army’s treating the guys at our core value and what Army etiquette actually is - there are fanmade videos of this. Our fandom has even made Army etiquette posters that we spread on twitter/social media, especially around concert times. As a fandom, we are very very particular on how our guys are treated with respect and privacy, but young and/or immature fans/stalkers drag our name into their toxic behavior and make all of us look bad. Please don’t call them Army, the should be called either Ssaesangs or stalkers.
