There are a couple things to clear up here. Jiraiya can go into sage mode without the toads. The reason he summoned them is to SUSTAIN sage mode, because no matter what level of mastery your sage mode is, you can only sustain it for 5 minutes. Naruto is more powerful with Sage mode, meaning he has more destructive capability. But Jiraiya is a BETTER fighter than Naruto, so it does not matter that Naruto’s sage mode is technically better. Jiraiya had a less effective Sage mode with little knowledge and still killed 2 pains. And lastly, the nine tails chakra and Naruto’s are seperate. His chakra pool is not large because of the fox. Your chakra pool is not dependent on outside forces. Kisame has a naturally large chakra pool, that is why Samehada is drawn to him no matter how much chakra he absorbs.

Naruto has surpassed Jiraya in terms of sage mode it’s ok

It’s crazy that Jody was willing to believe that Sasuke surpassed a sick and dying orochimaru (w/ no Proof) but Naruto surpassing Jiraiya is out the question

I don't remember the toad saying naruto could absorb more nature energy because of the 9 tails inside him. Those are 2 different chakras. Kakashi already confirmed that naruto has a large chakra pool and it would be even larger if he wasn't suppressing the 9 tails. Also jiraiyas arsenal only seems better because he knows more jutsus than naruto, it's not really because of the toads or the sage mode (they just provide him with the constant nature energy to transform). Jiraiya's a more experienceed ninja and he's smarter than naruto which is why he was able to find out Pain's secret. If it wasn't for the constant nature energy then I would say naruto's sage mode is easily better. Sure he can only do it for 5 minutes now but im sure he can train to improve that. Jiraiya on the other hand needs to summon the toads which takes a long time.

YES!!!! More blessings for this epic arc big dawg 🙏. Naruto showed some strategy with creating Shadow Clones to replenish his Sage Mode. Naruto's chakra pool and the 9 tails chakra pool are completely different. Jody is finding out even more that Pain is a complete problem.
