The princess adapts to her savior

That's the thing about magic, you have to be careful about what you promise, and what you might end up sacrificing. She knew just enough to be dangerous...trapped within the necromancer's lair, the princess offered up a prayer to any spirits who would hear her: she'd do almost anything for rescue, she'd surrender completely and become the perfect suitor for anyone who could deliver her from this evil. So the pact was made, and the hero found his quest smoother, easier...unknowingly aided by the spirits, eager to fulfill her request. He felt powerful, stronger...thicker too, which was a little concerning, but he towered over the monsters in his way, who often ran off without a confrontation.

The necromancer was no fool. Detecting the brute at his doorstep, he soon pieced together exactly what sort of magic was at work here. There was no sense in mounting a defense with those tricksters in play...but then, the disruption of the kingdom had been his goal anyway, and nothing would be more disruptive than what was about to happen. He simply left, deactivated his defenses and teleported to his secondary outpost, but kept a scrying channel open. In mere moments, the hero lost his grip on his sword, his hands becoming nothing but solid hooves...still he trudged awkwardly through the empty lair, bellowing. And the princess bellowed back, as the spirits knitted her form into one befitting her rescuer...through his looking glass, the obscene spectacle of their union filled the necromancer with both a sense of triumph and nausea. As the plapping started, he quickly closed the channel and returned to his scheming.

Stupid girl...
