This show does take my mind off my transformation

Your weird-ass show is kind of helping me forget all this...I mean, I glance back at you and you're so much bigger than me now, and I come crashing back to reality, but it's still nice to take my mind off things for a few minutes at least. I would never have watched this if you hadn't sat me down and made me watch it. I know I was a stubborn grump at first about having to read subtitles, but it's got this addictive quality...can't wait to see what happens next.
It's almost scary how quickly something as weird as this can start to feel normal. No, not the show, I mean this whole...situation. I was crying my head off yesterday, and today I'm just binging a show with you like nothing happened. A part of me doesn't want this to start feeling normal, like, I should be upset and freaking out and trying to find a cure. But I know that's not really within my power, and the rest doesn't help anything...
