"Alright...deep breaths...god, even breathing feels different, it tastes different, earthy, inhaling past my big dumb donkey tongue...ugh, focus...

I made it through the night, curled up under this old bridge...I don't even know if anyone knows I'm here. Saw plenty of others trying to escape too, all of 'em caught...that one girl, god, I'll always be in her debt, told me to run while she led them off! She's probably halfway to some farm by now... *sob*

How the hell can I escape...is there even any way to get back to normal? The boats are probably the only way on or off of this island...and I don't put my chances very high at being able to sneak aboard like this, with these big clomping hooves. Even with the boats gone with their 'cargo,' there's probably a crew left behind, cleaning up all the mess back at the park, so the new arrivals don't notice anything wrong. Hmm...I don't know...m-maybe...maybe my only chance is to wait for the next group to arrive, and cause a big scene, beg them to help, tell them what this island is REALLY for, right as they're entering the park. Maybe when they're all still human, all together like that, they could overpower the staff...maybe they can take me back with them...would I have listened if I saw a freakish donkey woman begging for help as I first arrived here? ...Probably...I have to try..."
