"When you brought that muddy dog inside and told me she was my sister, I thought you were completely insane...anyone would, right? But the way she was acting...obviously she'd lost a lot of herself, got pretty canine-brained, but I could tell she remembered me and wanted to communicate...it was her. Since you left her with me, I've taken care of her...every day I recognize more and more of the spark of the sister I knew...just in dog form, now. And she's, um, gotten really friendly with Marcus, my German Shepherd. Truthfully I've sometimes been jealous, watching them...which is why I've been looking into what caused her transformation, and why I asked you to bring me out to where she was the day she changed.
And...I think it's working...feel like I'm...ohhh god...wow. Never expected it to feel like this...n-no, I can't tell you what I did to trigger it, it's a little bit hereditary anyway...I need you to take care of us, all three of us. You'd do that, right? I knew I could trust you...haahhh...o-ohh, I can feel the fur coming in...I'm coming, sis...we'll be able to play together again soon...!"
(Sort of sequel to the post from a month ago titled "Won't be cold for much longer")
