Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Review
Added 2023-03-13 18:30:03 +0000 UTCI'm working on something but in the mean time I finished Wrath of the Righteous recently (I didn't finish it at release as it's long and I got distracted making videos) and thought I'd make a quick video review. It's unlisted so think of it as patreon exclusive content or something (although I might provide a link for non patreons later, I don't know).
My reasoning for making this video were:
1. People ask me my thoughts on the game sometimes and I feel bad skipping it over when the first game was so important to the channel and a significant portion of my fanbase are crpg fans.
2. I made the original pathfinder kingmaker review very quickly and as times passed my process has became a lot more involved and time consuming. The Kingmaker review was made with a deadline, as I was traveling somewhere the next week and wanted to get a review out asap, so it was a real speedrun of video making which is nothing like the way I work now. Therefore I was curious what it would be like to work like that again and to see how a video would turn out. So I gave myself one day to make this video and see how it goes. Basically it was a bit of an experiment and the results weren't anything remarkable. For me, taking my time to try to make something great is a lot more satisfying that trying to make something satisfactory quickly, but it was helpful to confirm that I guess.
Anyway I don't really plan on doing something like this again in the future and I'll provide a bigger update at the start of April when the next real video should be finished.

Hey mate, I just subbed but wanted to say Ive been watching since The No game needs an easy mode video. Im mortified to see what the platform is doing to you, but want you to know that your channel is one of the few that truly keep me on YouTube. Long form video analysis of the level of quality and calm that you put out is important. The recent TEHOVG video you put out is your best and most important yet.

I think there's a place for these "shorts" along side your more detailed, polished, in-depth videos. Not sure if you care, but at 3:20 it appears you misspoke - "It cannot be understated just how well this dual system is implemented." I think you meant to say overstated. Either way, it was clear that you really dig it. : )
