Comments

Spoilers to my comment on this episode, avoid reading this please. Also, quite the long post i made. Well, I always forget that scene for his younger sister showed up, made me tear up. Hmm, well... from many perspectives... We got Rei's perspective on his side, which we are supporting him and such as the observers watching this. Rei, coming into a professional shogi's family will surely cause strife and turmoil within the family. A domino effect that wears down the people around Rei. His older adoptive sister, shouldn't obviously shaped him during a match, but his adoptive father shouldn't have been cruel to let her be outside, what seems to have been during close the winters weather. Which pushed her buttons more. Rei stated that his adoptive father, whether good or bad, about shogi. The father is also at fault too, from the sounds of it with his adoptive sister, she mentioned that Rei wasn't officially adopted, considering how it's done differently in Japan. From both their perspective, just seeing your own father, bringing in someone new into the family, would complicate their young minds and emotions. Especially if they have to compete against each other in shogi. If I kept losing to another kid, who i didn't know, who my dad fonded over than us, then it'll crack my heart apart, wearing my spirits down, making me low in spirits, just giving up on life ahead of me. I'd feel like shit, conflicted. Heck, there's so many I wanna type, but I'm on mobile right now.
