2025-03-26 22:21:09 +0000 UTCI'm glad you're enjoying it. I won't say much until we get later in the series so as to avoid spoilers this early on so I'll just comment on the direction of the show. The studio responsible for this is Shaft of Bakemonogatari/Puella Magi Madoka Magica fame. You can tell some of the shots are very much their style, such as the classic Shaft head tilt though it's more of a simple slow turn in this. I'm a big fan of their use of establishing shots of this anime. It really lets me have a sense of the space that Rei is inhabiting and it makes me personally feel more immersed in the show. It's a gorgeous anime as you've mentioned a few times throughout this commentary, from the art direction to the music. Anyway, thanks for the video and I look forward to seeing more.
