Cmon Bret Roy Scheider so fn under rated. Sorceror he is amazing. He's the heart of Jaws, "Gonna need a bigger boat" improvised line. Fck Richard Dreyfus annoying ass character. And French Connection he anchors as well.

The Eric Red thriller Cohen & Tate is a good later Roy Scheider performance. Like The Hitcher, it's a lean little movie (two hitmen murder a family and kidnap their child; complications ensue) but Scheider carries it well.
