Very pleased to see this became a reality!

I have to disagree about your comparison of an audience booing a speaker and a production company pressuring someone to get out of social media. There's a certain parity between audience and speaker, and booing is a venerable tradition. This is nothing like powerful Hollywood enforcement of PC orthodoxy. And that has more to do with insecure elites claiming the authority to certify oppressors and victims.

This is a really good episode, Thanks guys

Somewhere south of Doheny, ambiguously localized a la Barstow crossroads, Lost Highway Inn, the mystique of Wolfman Jack, Guerowolf, calm cadenced, moodily syncopated, indiglo intoned, robed in hues of azure and topaz, lapiz lazuli blue noir ludey dramatique narratives, hooded looks from drawn blvd faces, sunken sockets and hollow scarecrow cheek bolts with respite and reassurance. Not to mention Todd the Millenial

In the Los Angeles chapter of Glamorama, "Everyone talked a lot about 2018". Did you just choose a year (25 years) in the future? Were people ACTUALLY discussing 2018 a lot during that time? And if it was a simply throwaway, what do you think Victor would've thought about this year...if we would've thought anything at all?

Bret ! Your podcast is excellent ! You also have a lovely bed time voice .. thank you !

“I’d go see a movie if Pauline Kale gave it a good review”. Sort of how I see movies if Bret gives them a good review

You guys need a BEE Spotify playlist. So many catchy tunes. What are the songs played in the 'intermissions'?

It's quite hilarious; I guess people will loathe the article just for that headline. He's not so gentle with Trump, anyway. He says that unpleasant people bring good things; the main takeaway, his sense of history, no matter how inaccurate may seem. And I think he's neither right or wrong. He's doing his thing and not giving a shit about it. I like it. (he can't avoid the irony of lambasting internationalism and being a french speaking about US problems, though)

Great episode. I love that you’re a fan of Scott Adams blog. Also, I was wondering if there is another method to pay for this podcast? Patreon’s attitude to freedom of speech is growing dodgier by the day and I’d like to still enjoy the podcast through another payment system if possible.

Also, random thought... as far as I know, no BEE podcast merch exists ... but if you WERE to make t-shirts at some point, I have an idea: back of the shirt reads - “and, umm, finally .... what do you think of the Eagles?” Front of the tee is blank except for the BEE Podcast logo in the top right corner. I’d buy six of them.

This is one of the best episodes yet. Bill Block is THE man. So nice to listen to someone who still has the passion for making good movies.
