Yes, still only getting the “public teasers”.

Hello everyone, I contacted Patreon customer support via email a few weeks ago regarding my lack of access to the paid content but haven’t received a response yet (initially pledged the $1.50 for the silver tier). I’ve unsuccessfully tried the following: uninstalling and reinstalling the Patreon app several times, logging into my account on the Patreon website, changing my pledge from the silver tier to the gold tier. Is anyone else is experiencing this issue? I’d really like to catch up on all the episodes I’ve been missing out on, but still only have access to the “public teasers”. Thanks.

What we do on our show is have our public content on our Soundcloud feed, then just put the bonus content on Patreon.

Got it! Just knowing the logic behind it helps. I'll bet a more personalized system for paying users is on Patreon's list of features to launch. Thanks for the explanation, Adam.

Hey Daniel! The audio "teasers" are designed to "tease" non-patrons with a free chunk of the podcast to entice them to join up... these are released well after the episode to ensure that paying listeners get to enjoy the content before anyone else. They are designed for those who aren't paying yet, so you may disregard the email notifications. You are thinking of them as "previews," which they are not. Hope this helps. Thanks for listening, my man! -Adam

Yea I have to delete silver and previews. You’d think the private RSS feeds could customize the content based on your tier but maybe not.

I've been hesitant to comment the last few weeks, but figured I'd say something in case the Patreon system (or the way you're releasing email notifications) is off. In short, I listened to the Boogie Nights podcast (this pattern also applies to all the proceeding podcasts) last week. Then today I get an email teaser for the podcast, which feels like you're announcing a new podcast ... but it's really one I've already listened to. So, the messaging feels out of sequence. In addition, I believe I often get served an audio episode teaser through the Apple Podcast app—again, often after I've already listened to the entire podcast days earlier. I don't want this to come off as assholian—just an observation that it confuses me (and may confuse others). Keep 'em coming!
