MHA:MPR CH24 - USJ INCIDENT (2)

Biting his nails in deep contemplation, Shiro thought, ‘Damn it. The capturing Kurogiri mission gives a lot more XP, but that’s currently an impossible feat for me. I’m far too slow—he’d toy around with me. On the other hand, there’s the mission of defeating 10 villains for 20,000 XP. That mission is way easier, and it’s almost guaranteed I can do it...’

While Shiro continued to mull over his options, the other students began questioning how the villains had managed to breach UA’s defenses.

“Sensei, aren’t there sensors? How did they get through them?” Yaoyarozu asked, her nervousness clear on her face.

“It has to be one of their quirks. This place is far from the campus, and they picked a location where there’d be few people present. This attack isn’t random. It’s extremely coordinated. They must have an objective...” Todoroki said, analyzing the situation with calm precision.

“Thirteen! Begin evacuating the students and try calling the school! The sensors are probably being jammed by an electric-type quirk,” Aizawa ordered sharply.

“But Sensei! You can’t fight them alone! Your quirk can’t nullify all of theirs!” Midoriya cried out, his voice trembling with concern.

‘It’s almost time for me to move in. As soon as Aizawa makes his first move and jumps down, I follow him—’ Shiro’s thoughts were interrupted by a tug on the back of his suit.

Turning around, he saw Uraraka staring at him with a scared expression. “Shiro, this looks really bad...” she said, her voice small.

Giving her a reassuring smile, Shiro replied, “You’ll be fine, I promise.”

Uraraka nodded, though her face remained etched with dread. Despite her fear, a spark of determination flickered in her eyes.

Shiro turned his attention back to Aizawa, waiting for the teacher to make his move.

“You’re Eraserhead! Your specialty is a quick binding capture, not head-on battle!” Midoriya continued, still trying to deter Aizawa.

Aizawa adjusted his goggles and glanced back at Midoriya. “No good hero is a one-trick pony,” he said. Turning to Thirteen, he added, “Take care of them.” With that, he launched himself down the steps, diving straight into the throng of villains.

‘It’s time,’ Shiro thought, tapping his wrist before sprinting to the edge of the stairs. Without hesitation, he leaped into the fray.

While airborne, Shiro bit his thumb, causing his Titan form to materialize around him. He crashed to the ground with a deafening boom, the force of his landing cracking the earth beneath him.

This all happened in a matter of seconds, leaving no time for Thirteen or anyone else to react.

“SHIRO!” Uraraka screamed, her voice cutting through the chaos as every pair of eyes locked onto Shiro’s towering Titan form.

“W-what is he doing?!” Midoriya thought, his expression filled with shock as he stared at the colossal figure standing among the villains.

Bakugo, gritting his teeth in fury, sprinted toward the edge of the stairs. Using his explosions to propel himself forward, he launched into the air. “YOU BASTARD! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST SURPASS ME, HUH?!!!” he roared.

“Idiots...” Todoroki muttered, his tone laced with irritation.

Thirteen, frozen in shock, reached a hand toward Bakugo but hesitated, knowing it was too late to stop him. Turning to the rest of the group, Thirteen noticed Kirishima beginning to harden his body. “Cut it out!” Thirteen barked. “Those two have now put Aizawa in an even worse position. He has to fight while making sure they’re safe! Our job is to evacuate this building and bring All Might here—” Thirteen’s words were cut off by the sudden appearance of Kurogiri.

A swirling purple portal emerged from thin air, his glowing yellow eyes scanning the students. “It seems UA has some brave students. Well, I suppose it’s only natural if you go to the best hero course in the country,” Kurogiri said, his words carrying a newfound respect.

Meanwhile, Shiro stood amidst the chaos as Aizawa fought off villains, his frustration evident.

“Do you understand what you’ve done? Go back up those stairs now! With your form, it shouldn’t take you too long to escape—” Aizawa’s scolding was interrupted by Bakugo’s arrival. The explosive student landed beside him, blasting one of the villains away.

‘Shit...’ Aizawa thought, gritting his teeth as he assessed the situation.

Shiro was equally taken aback by Bakugo’s appearance. ‘Bakugo? This wasn’t meant to happen.. His survival isn’t guaranteed anymore...’ Shiro thought, his eyes wide with concern as he glanced at Bakugo.

Acting quickly, Aizawa threw his scarf toward Bakugo, wrapping it around the boy and yanking him back. ‘Shiro’s quirk is incredibly destructive, so I have faith he’ll be able to hold his own somewhat. He’s also demonstrated superb combat prowess. But Bakugo, on the other hand...’ Aizawa’s thoughts trailed off as he turned his focus back to the villains.

Shiro shifted his gaze to the enemies in front of him. ‘I’ll have to leave Bakugo’s safety to Aizawa. I need to focus on completing my quest,’ he thought.

The villains standing before Shiro were paralyzed with fear, their legs trembling as they stared up at his monstrous form. “W-what is that thing?!” one of the muscular villains stammered.

“A m-m-moment a-a-ago, he was j-j-just a k-kid!” another stuttered.

Shigaraki, watching from a distance, stared at Shiro in awe. ‘Those muscles, the size, its armor... How can a kid have a quirk this powerful…?’ he wondered.

Noticing Shigaraki’s gaze with his metavision, Shiro thought, ‘I’ve got to take out these villains before he sends Nomu at me...’

Lowering his massive hand, Shiro prepared for a powerful swipe. ‘In only one swipe,’ he thought, ‘I can complete the mission.’

Shiro’s hand scraped across the floor, damaging the concrete as his hand closed in on the villains.

“R-run... RUNNN!!” one of the villains screamed, twisting around in a desperate attempt to escape. The villain’s desperate cry snapped the rest out of their trance, as they all attempted to flee, but it was too late. Shiro’s attack hit them all, sending their bodies flying through the air.

‘I didn’t kill them, did I? I think I used too much force...’ Shiro thought, a flicker of worry crossing his mind. ‘Since I’ve attained this form, I’ve not had the chance to use even half my strength, so my control isn’t great...’

Shigaraki’s eyes widened as he watched his lackeys fly through the air, towards the large rocks in the mountainous area. “They’re dead...” he muttered, a chill running down his spine. ‘What monstrous strength... It’s even more surprising that that child was willing to kill...’ he pondered.

The battlefield fell silent, everyone frozen in place as they absorbed the display of Shiro’s raw power. Aizawa, mid-action, paused, his mouth slightly agape. Even Bakugo, struggling against Aizawa’s scarf, stopped to watch the spectacle unfold.

With a loud crash, the villains slammed into the rocks, their bodies all slumped.

Kurogiri, who had been holding the students at bay, turned to see what had happened. His glowing eyes narrowed. ‘I should go back...’ Kurogiri thought, but Shigaraki shot him a glance, silently ordering him to continue.

Aizawa, snapping out of his stupor, let go of Bakugo and resumed taking down villains one by one while they remained paralyzed with fear.

‘I can’t let this opportunity pass by!’ Aizawa thought, as he slammed another villain into the ground.

Bakugo, not wanting to be left behind, joined the fight, taking down a few villains of his own.

Shigaraki, regaining his composure, sneered. “You put on quite the show, but it’s time to end things here.” He turned to Nomu and pointed at Shiro. “Get him.”

Aizawa, noticing the order given by Shigaraki, sprinted toward Nomu in an attempt to stop it. But Shigaraki intercepted him, his sinister grin widening. “Meet the anti-symbol of peace,” Shigaraki said. “The bioengineered: Nomu.”

Nomu moved with inhuman speed, appearing in front of Shiro in an instant. Its fist was cocked back, ready to strike.

‘So quick—’

Shiro’s thought was cut short as Nomu’s punch connected. The blow crushed the armored plating of Shiro’s Titan form, obliterated the muscle, and left a gaping hole in its skull.

“SHIRO!” Aizawa roared, trying to rush to his aid, but Shigaraki blocked his path, his eyes gleaming with malice.
