When Zhe Rui's Mum said, "Don't be better than your little brother so grandpa will like us"... It felt like Ritsu from End of the World With You. Remember he was an outside child, so he was not allowed to be better than the main family child and had to give up a place at the top Uni because his brother did not get in. Same vibes from Zhe Rui. Culture note... The school bells being the Westminster chimes is probably left over from the 50 years Japan colonised Taiwan. The school bells at elementary and JHS are the same here. Also, the smily face food is called omurice. It is an omelette over rice and usually has a smily face drawn on it. (I am here for Zhe Rui in his domestic era though. The way he smiles at Bai Zong Yi taking his lunchbox to school.) The scream at the Good morning scene though! I love them. Little blonde hair is giving me feisty chihuahua vibes. And I love actor Wayne and his lollipop.
