This build was mostly focused on the Inventory system, I've never programmed one so most of the month was spent tip toeing in the dark on developing it, until eventually I found the light at the end of the tunnel, and found a working solution. while it is simple, it does what I need, for the moment, most of its features are disabled as I am still developing it.
The items don't work right now, the most you can do is select items and place them in your inventory slots or quick menu slots. part of that reason is still deciding how many items we want in our game.
while there will be standard items such as magical projectiles or heath potions, there will be special items that will treat nearly every enemy as a puzzle, example "magical phallic wand", certain enemies will interact with it, while others wont even brother. or a "attachable magical phallic wand" which will grant you the abilty to plap certain enemies you couldnt before~ ect, the puzzle aspect about this is trying out different items on enemies and finding alterative portrait animations. maybe some items are Quest related, some purely just for "play".
I might do some polls to give you guys an option on what sort of items you want to see in the game.
