When did you guys know you wanted kids? What age is to early to get a vasectomy? I'm 21 and have absolutely no desire for children. I think they're money pits that require a lot of work with no reward. Everyone I talk to says getting a vasectomy at 21 is idiotic because I could change my mind, but I really don't see that change happening. Those people also say that I should just use a condom and her on birth control, but those things fail and I don't want any chance of having a child. How do you guys side on this? Should I wait? Also did you guys change your mind or did you always want kids? (excluding Kyle lol)

Woody, how did you help your wife understand all the tools you’ve used in regards to finances to be successful? Did she understand the idea of thinking super far in the future when you were shaving so much money and depriving yourself of somewhat simple luxuries while you were early on in your school and career? How did that talk go and how would you suggest a 22 year old do that with their future wife/fiancé

Am I the asshole? I had been dating a girl for almost 2 years, and she had moved in with me about 1 year into our relationship. She got a new job around May of last year, and in June, there was a new guy at her work (Dave). They became friends, but there was a lot of shady shit about him, and I didn't trust him. For example, his last girlfriend was already married, and he had slept with a bunch of her coworkers within the first few weeks of working there (she was always gossiping about who he had been fucking). Around the end of July, she started hanging out with him and another coworker smoking weed until late at night almost everyday, usually until around 11:30, but sometimes later. At some point I confronted her about it, asking her why she's staying out so late with this guy every day, but she assures me that nothing bad is happening, and that she thinks Dave is actually gay. A few weeks later, she breaks up with me, and says she's going to go live with him after he come back from vacation (3 days later). In those few days that she was still living at my place, she tells me that he, in fact, is not gay (shocker!) and that he convinced her to break up with me so they could be together. She was always adamant that she never cheated on me, but looking in hindsight it's likely. The next day (the last day before she moved out) we had sex, with me fully knowing that she was now dating Dave. You guys have joked about 'hate fucks' before and now I know what you mean. As a final addendum, I just want to add that after they had been going out for only 1 month, they got engaged and are getting married in March. I never planned on telling anyone this because making her cheat on someone makes me feel dirty in all the wrong ways. Obviously there's a lot of assholes in this scenario, but am I one of them?
