Woody, i’m writing this because recently i’ve been seeing a girl for almost two months and she’s been saying things like how she wants to kill her self and i have no one to ask what I should do. I know this is a really strange thing to be asking advice for from a stranger on the internet but i’ve been listening since i was 12 (I’m 18 now) and I remember you touching on things like this on Mail Monday. I’m going to lay this out there as quickly as possible. I met this girl (M we can call her) through another girl I had sold weed to at a concert in November when she had a boyfriend at the time. We met, got each others contacts and talked as friends for a few months before she broke up with her ex. After 3-4 months of me talking to her she told me she had been through xanax and cocaine addiction, raped, has bipolar and is on mood stabilizers, and was also being mentally abused by her boyfriend; things like calling her a slut, saying she had no friends or future and even wishing she had overdosed after they broke up. When she finally left him about a week later i came to her house, took her out and we had sex for the first time. Things felt really normal. A little awkward sometimes talking but she’s a shy person and other than that we like the same music, shows and had a lot common. Here’s where I have no clue what I should do next. About a week into seeing eachother I had to go to Florida to visit family. When I was gone one night she was with some friends of hers i didn’t know very well because we didn’t go to the same highschool, and she ended up getting blacked out drunk and swallowing a bottle of oxys. I was awake as it was happening, telling her friends what to do if she OD’d, talking with her on the phone, telling her to vomit the pills up and eventually she got home safe. She was caught the next day and her mom called me. She sobbed on the phone to me because, unknown to me, her mom had been taking her to substance abuse therapy and a psychiatrist twice a week for months. It broke my heart, I myself had been addicted to xanax and seen multiple friends from back home die to fentanyl or other drug overdoses. Not only that but I care about this girl. I didn’t approach the relationship trying to white knight my way in to her life or become her father, but I have feelings for her and if she stayed sober i could see myself staying with her. Since i got back to Colorado where we live i’ve seen her a lot, and she’s told me she wants to stay sober and be with me. However, The last week or so she’s been depressed, hardly eating and telling me about how she wants to hurt herself. I’m in a strange position because I really like this girl and want her to get better, just have no idea how to go about doing the right thing. I considered showing her mom her social media’s and texts with me but decided against it, I considered tipping the police and having them do a wellness check but that doesn’t seem like the right decision either. I’m really lost. I don’t want to harm my relationship with her or her family but i wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if she hurt herself or attempted suicide. I don’t care if this makes this it to the show but if any of the hosts have some advice I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for the years of entertainment, ive listened to every PKA twice and I wouldn’t have got sober without the show getting me through withdrawals.

A long time family-friend of mine died in a car accident yesterday. She's like a sister to me; some of my fondest memories are of hanging out with her and her family when we were kids. But now she's gone, and I'm not sure how to progress from here. This is the first time I've dealt with the death of a close friend and I miss her. Taylor's mentioned this concept before, but I can't stop thinking about what her last normal thought could've been. Was she thinking about how excited she was to be home again? Or thinking about what to get for lunch? Maybe figuring out what to do for the weekend. I suppose I'll never know, but I can't get it out of my head. Anyway, here's my question. What's the procedure at a funeral? Should I give a eulogy? When I talk to her family, would it be weird to talk about my own sadness when I know that theirs is so much greater? What about after the funeral? How have you guys (and potential guest) dealt with the loss of a loved one? I'm really out of my depth here and would greatly appreciate any response. More of a Woody & Kyle question, but anyone feel free to chime in. I'm 19 years old, paying my way through college, and really trying to get great financial foundation for the future. I decided to switch universities from our flagship campus to one in my home city of Dallas due to cost(Dallas Vs. Austin cost-of-living). I'm going to need to get a car when I move back, and I'm looking at picking up a used car for about $6k cash because fuck car payments. Have `$1.8 saved up right now, moving out end of July. I managed to land an internet marketing internship that pays 15/hr which eventually turned into a marketing & sales job that gives me spiff commissions. In addition, I'm trading forex & working on building a digital marketing consulting firm with a programmer friend of mine, all grinding towards that goal of $6k. Two questions here: -Kyle, you were selling cars at 19. How'd you build rapport with people despite your age? I've done pretty well assisting sales this month but I really want to be able to close. -I really want to build businesses in the long term and I see that both of you have done that. If you could give someone my age that has that goal in mind a piece of advice, what would that be?

How did you guys deal with putting your dogs down or their passing in general? This is a pretty dark subject for the show but I' m currently in the process of putting my dog down. This is one of my 3 childhood dogs and I just don't know how to handle this

More so Taylor, but the rest of the gang can chime in: how has kettle bell training worked for you over the last year? Moved into my first apartment at the start of the year and have been lifting at home on/off again since. However in May I started taking workouts/my diet seriously. I've got 35lb and 40lb bells and am ready for a newer weight for core exercises. Now I'm thinking of getting a basic bench to sit on/improve extensions with and potentially one of those pull up bars you stick in a door frame. Would you say the workouts at home over the last year compare to those one might get from a gym membership? Keeping a clean diet, would investing in a *few* more at-home workout equipment (to further health/gains) be worth it/worth it in YOUR case as well (as opposed to just going to the gym)? Personally, I find the convenience of working out at home a motivating factor. Not sure if you still workout at home with the kettle bells or not. Glad to give ya my measly $10 every month!

Taylor, have you considered doing a series of your own summations of bible stories? Not to be like a smarmy douche on high towards those who do believe, but just a telling of some of the ridiculous shit in the bible. For example, David's random escapades, that in some cases lead to many dead and some without their foreskin. Or the apostle Paul's extended stay in prisons while writing to churches about staying strong in the faith, only to die by decapitation.

Best friends ex.. ok guys what’s the acceptable statute of limitations of your best friends ex? They broke up over a year again and he moved out of state. They’ve both dated others since and he is currently with someone else. Me and her have this amazing connection as of late and it’s clear that there is something there but we both seem to ignore it. We’ve kissed a few times but never anything past it. We both seem scared to hurt her ex and my best friend as they dated for 5+ years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
