Howdy everyone!

So, we’re getting to the end of November! The end of this week is the Thanksgiving holiday for those of us in the States and then we’ll be heading right on into the Christmas season!

So, in order to try and get everything done for the new year, I’m going to be knuckling down a bit and spending more time grinding down these commissions that have been kind of sitting on my neck for the whole of this year.

I’ll be messaging my commissioners, trying to schedule appointments for the upcoming weeks to get these things checked off, finding good days for people and just generally trying to take care of myself better so that I can work harder. I’ve been kind of dragging myself through it up to this point, but I can do things smarter so that’s what I’m going to do. I’ve been kind of in a holding pattern, hoping things would get better, but I’ve had enough of that. It’s time to go forward.

I’m going to be also much more specific about how I spend my days, which is partially what the scheduling is about. That way I’ll be able to more accurately plan what I’m going to be doing rather than just having a nebulous “Oh, I could do some of this!” and then not actually doing any of what I’m supposed to that day.

I’ve got the office set up now (Dicy went and got me a card table so I can set up my tablet near the window to get some sun and actually not be hunched over on the couch all the time), so hopefully that’ll help me feel better during my work, too!

So yeah, a lot of this is just kind of pep-talking myself, but I’m committed to getting through this and I’ll be happy to finally have the time and energy to commit to all these projects I’ve talked about once I reach the other side.

I probably won't have as much time to be social for a while, but it'll be good to finally get this all off my back once and for all.

Various Happenings is currently on hold until I’ve completed most of my current commissions. Once I’ve done that, and transitioned to working on my Patreon items, I’ll go back and start working on the remainder of Chapter 5 and the updates to the site that I’m planning.

It won’t be much, but it’ll be a bit of an overhaul to go with the new format.

The weather’s been kind of weird lately, a little warm and a little cold, changing here and there. The rain’s back though, and the grass is happy about that, so we’re probably going to have to cut it soon.
