Hint! Episode 0: Character Creation
Added 2025-08-28 11:30:01 +0000 UTC
For Patrons only: Join GM Erika and the rest of the crew as they carve up, I mean....out...carve out...new characters for their journey into the past, and, of course, into myyyyssssteerrrryyyy. (When you read this in your head you have to draw out the word mystery like that or you're not a real fan.) And then prepare yourself for next week's prelude to a death, when our characters finally gather on the doom-dark grounds of the Boddie Estate.

This is so fun. I listened to Hint! Before listening to this, and it makes me want to listen again for the extra layers!

2025-11-19 07:34:08 +0000 UTCHearing Lindy Hop name checked in my favorite podcast makes me so happy! Aabria, do you swing dance?! :) And yes, the name is related to Charles Lindbergh: Harlem dancers in 1927 made a joke that stuck for a century ๐

2025-10-07 02:22:05 +0000 UTCSo I didn't listen to this before the actual game play episodes. And I fully thought "Friend of Marlene" was a reference to Marlene Dietrich and was 100% into that. Head canon accepted.

2025-09-24 21:18:54 +0000 UTCAs a child who was obsessed with Clue I canโt wait for this. I used to shuffle the deck and play *by myself* narrating and rolling for the characters to move around and solve the murder over and over again. I also had a very normal amount of friends, why do you ask?

2025-09-09 17:27:32 +0000 UTCThe word soccer comes from England. Also British people pronounce the h in herb because the poor people tend to drop the h so they do it to sound posh

2025-09-09 15:02:35 +0000 UTCMiss Scarlett is definitely inspired by Anna May Wong, a very celebrated actress that went through what Erica is describing in the 1930's. Wong was wrongful denied leading roles because of the hays code. That said, the hays code went into affect in 1934 and the first talkie premiered in 1927. If we were to depict Wongs career in 1927 it would be alot more thriving. Yes she would be denied roles because of racism in 1927. But we also need to celebrate what she was accomplishing at that point in history as a big star in the silent era and as a globally recognized fashion icon.
