We truly appreciate your continued patience with us as we continue to prioritize our staff’s health. One of our staff members is currently sick, which is what’s causing the episode to be delayed.
In order to give them ample time to rest, we will be releasing Ep. 38 on Tuesday, November 26th.

I also wanna share with yall that I was really struck on Wednesday, especially layer in the evening, how much comment section under the fireside ep 38 Notice post,felt like genuine real community. While there is a sense of connection & even a bond of sorts within“online communities,” they very rarely actually feel like community. It seems strange to say but that comment section may be the only time I have ever felt a sensation of real & almost, like..tangible, community w/ an “online community” that isn’t explicitly & specifically connected through a minority identity or specific shared suffering. It was a strange but lovely feeling bc in many ways it felt far more like in-person community than the few above type experiences I’ve had. While there is a deep power, impact, and emotionality to the sort of community felt&shared in regards to , for ex: queerness, there is also something so like, simplistically& pleasantly, lovely & meaningful abt community shared over a love of, a really good story. The mentality of the fireside patrons feels so reminiscent of the childhood thought process of “we both like this book & care about the characters in it, so that makes us friends and friends care about each other.” And idk about yall, but I miss that modus of operendum so it’s nice to feel a reflection of it within the comment sections of fireside posts 🧙🔥✨🧙♀️
