It's really surprising to see that YTLAG has made so many people question their gender identity. It's only 12% but that's still ~60 eggs cracked. I'm also surprised to see that so few of my players are attracted to men. There are lots of cishet and lesbian players. It's also really cool to see that YTLAG is played on all six continents.

The results for the last question were really interesting as well. The vast majority of people aren't subscribed because of finances. Which is fair but also surprising since the prices are pretty low. For the people who aren't subscribed because I take too long between updates or because they're not interested in the updates, that's definitely something I can do better. For the one person who didn't like that the homosexual stat got removed, that stat is still there!

It's impressive that there's even 10% of players who play on their phones since this game isn't really mobile friendly. If any of you have any ideas to make the game a better experience for mobile users, let me know! It's hard to make sure there's enough space for the avatar, the left sidebar, and the text. The people who took the survey seem pretty excited about YTLAG, which is great!

The fact that 73% of people didn't know I was developing a new game is a little worrying though. Even when I look at the people who are subscribed, 49% didn't know. To be fair, I haven't marketed it at all. I just released a demo on April Fools day and haven't communicated about it since. So I'm working on a new game called Ugly Ducklings! It will be a TF game set on a reality dating show!

Want there to be female romance options: I was planning for the only romance options to be the three male characters on the show. But I can add content (or even a path) with the female host of the show or the other sissies.
Recommend wrapping up YTLAG before moving onto another game
Felt like it was too on rails: fair. But once we're out of the prologue and the show has started, the game will probably open up
Veered too far into the humiliation aspect: I'll keep this in mind. I was trying to give you a sense of Michael's life and personality before the game started. I picture this as being similar to YTLAG: the journey might be humiliating but you'll end up in a loving, wholesome relationship at the end
I hope it contains supernatural transformations: there won't be any supernatural transformations, sorry! Unless you count fast-acting HRT since we're 20 minutes into the future as supernatural

Overall, people like YTLAG more than the demo version of Ugly Ducklings. However, that doesn't mean that I'm going to exclusively work on YTLAG. It might be a better experience for you guys to get faster updates on a game there's slightly less excitement for, rather than forcing myself to push through the burnout.

The game has been in an "almost done" state with updates about once every two months for a while now so there hasn't been a lot to discuss. I'll have to do a better job updating more frequently and being more active

It was really surprising to see how many people don't keep up with every release. Just 27% play every update and only 55% had played either the public or Patreon update at the time this survey was posted. I'm curious if that's common with these games, or if it's because YTLAG is almost done and the updates are on specific paths that not everyone is interested in.

This is good feedback to get since the next planned YTLAG update is rewriting Griffin's character. I'll focus on the top 4 options (taking a more active role in your feminization, more content, explaining his interest in Morgan and making him more confident)

The three most popular options were the cheerleaders (49%), Morgan (43%) and Elvira (42%). Other popular options were Marco (32%), your parents (30%), Ryan (26%), Coach (23%), Hazel (18%) and Mr. Garcia (15%). Write in options that got more than 1 vote were the football team, Norm, and Patrick.

This question let everyone write in their favorite scene so the results were very spread out. However, the most popular scene by far was going to the beach with Jessica.

Most people don't want to punish Raven, but there's enough people who do that I'll look into adding it. Interestingly, players who dated Raven were almost as likely to want to punish her for cursing them

I''ll have to add more transformations. Over a third of the players run out halfway through the game and that obviously isn''t a good experience. I don't think there's really any room for more physical transformations, so that leaves mental TFs

How do you feel about the balancing of the paths?
They all feel balanced (52%), some feel underdeveloped (49%)

Which paths feel underdeveloped?
This was also pretty spread out, but the top votegetter was the trans path (22%). Hopefully that feels more developed after the last update, but I can focus on finishing it.

Other votegetters were the male path (17%), Raven content (11%), Griffin content (7%), magic (7%), getting your dick back (6%) and Jessica content (6%).

What potential new content are you most excited about?
Spells with the Witchcraft Club (58%), mannerism TFs (58%), a completed trans path (53%), a more difficult male path (46%), lunch conversations (37%), making Griffin more confident (34%), Raven helping you get your dick back (28%), therapy sessions (19%), getting your dick back after winning the championship (19%)

This is pretty in line with the last question. The content that people are looking forward to the most are a completed trans path, getting to do magic, getting your dick back, mannerisms TFs and making Griffin more confident. The next YTLAG update will focus on Griffin and after that I can focus on the other four.

What spells would you like to do?
This question let everyone write in their favorite scene so the results were very spread out. However, the most popular spell was transforming others, followed closely by transforming yourself.

Other popular spells included temporarily boosting your football skills, a lust spell (either on yourself or your partner), automatically doing your makeup and changing your outfit, boosting your grades, reversing your transformations, transforming Griffin, body swapping with another character, changing your appearance, getting revenge on Morgan, illusion spells, and a romance spell with your love interest.

Other spells that didn't get as many votes but that I think have potential include giving Jessica a dick, getting revenge on Raven, a minor/temporary reality change spell, boosting your cheerleader skills, mentally nudging someone to do something, telepathy, temporarily completing your transformations (like Raven does to you before your date with Griffin), temporarily boosting Griffin's skills, invisibility, automatically doing your nails and shaving, a magical dildo, bimboification, telekinesis, orgasm denial, alleviating your PMS, replacing your tampon, summoning a sex demon, and more scenes with the other witches.

These are some great suggestions! Thank you all so much for the ideas! When I'm ready to add more spells to the game, I'll probably put up a poll to narrow it down further

These results were very spread out as well. However, the most popular options were knowing if you're locked out of a path, more detail on how to get onto specific paths, and more hints about how to romance Griffin.

Other hints requested included knowing what stat levels you need to get to unlock more content, hints on how to get the harder TFs and a schedule system, hints on getting into the girls bathroom during your period, for the hints to adapt if you're resisting your transformation and for a clearer FAQ page.

There were also a lot of requests that only got one vote. They're too numerous for me to list here, but it's pretty easy for me to add them all into the game.

How do you play the cheerleading minigame?
I abuse the back button to find the right answers (48%), I try to remember the right answers (21%), I have Whitney teach me the routines (18%), I try to avoid cheerleading since it annoyed me so much (9%), Take notes or photos (2%), Have Inner Courtney take over (1%), Modify the game's source code (<1%)

The intended way to do this is to have Whitney teach you the routines, so only 18% of people doing that seems like a big problem. I added a hint in 1.7.1 to play normally and then let Whitney teach you and the percentage of people who did that went up to...19%.

I definitely need to either make it clearer what the optimal way to play is or add an option to skip the minigame, because someone feeling like she needs to use the back button over and over isn't going to have a good experience.

It's interesting that so many people were racing to complete all the content when 84% of players felt like they ran out of content. To me, that's an indication that the content is there but it needs to be paced better so there's something to do every day..

How do you like the avatar system?

If you don’t like the avatar, system, how could it be improved?
The most common critiques (in order) were wanting more clothing options, not liking the art style, wanting different hairstyles or hair colors, and not finding the male Corey avatar attractive.

Other critiques were wanting to customize more about the MC, the clothes clipping through the avatar, wanting to see more of the differences between TFs and wanting more NPCs.

A couple people also mentioned poses and an animated transformation sequence like in A Hair Loss Treatment, the game that "borrowed" my art.

These are all good points! It would probably be too big of a commitment to completely redo the art style, but I can see myself doing some of the other suggestions.

Will happen the next time Raven's path is updated!

The fact that we ABSOLUTLY have to do the pantie raid and drop the work group is pretty underwhealming for me...

I made the panty raid mandatory when I realized that I wasn't interested in adding classwork and homework content. The high school setting is a backdrop but it's much less important than everything else that's going on, and the panty raid was a good way to force you to think about wearing panties early on into the game.

That being said, I'm open to making it optional again if enough people prefer that.

I didn't like that a lot of the late game content is locked behind the cheerleader contest. I don't see the need to challenge her, but without doing that I can't really access some of the stuff like high heels and other events. I would like to see a different path that focuses more on the witches. If you go that route, it should probably be exclusive with the cheerleaders, so some of the same stuff (like heels and manicure/pedicure) can be found there instead.

I absolutely need to add more content with the witches. And it's true that if you' don't want to run for Winter Queen, then you're locked out of all the cheerleader activities.

The problem with making it an alternative though is that if you're spending all your time with the witches, there's not enough opportunities to get feminized. The witches are still feminine but it's not like they're going to go hang out at the mall and get mani pedis. I'll need to figure out what content to add that pushes you further into femininity while staying true to the witches characters.

All of the male options for dating are pretty terrible. Griffin both tries to date two women at the same time but also is an extreme beta. He becomes a lot better after the reality change where he becomes a lot more confident and the writing for him seems more consistent.

To be honest, I'd love someone like Griffin or Coach was more 'hands on' with me. LIke, sure Griffin wants to be a good guy and seems like he doesn't want to keep the QB skills, but that doesn't mean he can't take a more forceful hand in doing things with me. Like a first blowjob being more of a hands in hair, 'you can do this' kind of approach. I'd love that..

Right now [Griffin] seems like halfway between the two anyway, like he seems to not care about your feelings a bunch of times (going back to fucking morgan right after you confront him at makeout point, making out with the waitress after the football match) and other times he gives a vibe of caring (not hooking up with the girl at the party, most of the solo interactions)

These are fair points about Griffin. I wrote the initial scenes for him years ago, back when I was just starting to work on the game, and I think that's a big reason for the inconsistency with his character. Hopefully he improves in the rewrite.

It would be nice to have a version that works well with Android tablets and phones since they don't run the images through the same way Windows PC does

I'd like to add more support for mobile players. I know there's an issue with the images not being able to be resized (meaning there's less room for text) but I didn't realize that tablets and phones store the images differently. For now I'd suggest trying JoiPlay. I haven't used it but I've had mobile players who that worked for.

I just hope in the next few updates you could maybe have a threesome with Jessica and Raven, esp since Raven seems to have a feminization kink, it would be fun if Jessica took note of your (positive) reaction and started teasing you more, too, during and afterwards, maybe that last bit is asking for too much, I'm sure it'd be hella time consuming coding that in, but one can always dream!

I could possibly add another threesome. There aren't any threesomes where you hook up with both the people you're dating, whether that's Jessica/Raven or Jessica/Griffin. Jessica can be in the Witchcraft Club, so there's a reason for her to interact with Raven.

Don't take too many of the suggestions that people have and put them into the game. Player feedback and suggestions are great things, but scope creep is not...There's quite a few popular suggestions that would require pretty decent sized changes to the code to make happen, or would add in even more paths that would need to be developed when you already have things like the male path gasping for air.

That's a great point. Just going over the results of this survey has been slightly overwhelming lol. There's still so much to add and a lot of great suggestions for new content, and it's tempting to want to add all of it. But if I try to do that, then the game's never going to get finished.

I would love to see a path where you stay on the football team as a girl/trans. If you are practicing a lot with Griffin maybe there could be a path where you end up becoming a receiver?

You can stay on the football team after coming out as trans! You just have to pass your tryout. I was planning on making a path where you became a receiver back when I was first working on Griffin's path. But at this point, I don't think there's enough demand for more football content for me to add another path, sorry.

One very minor thing would be that in the character bio tab where it states the PC sees themselves as a boy/girl, gay/straight, etc, these would often change and I would not be aware of them until checking the bio halfway through the playthrough. Perhaps there could be a moment in the story where the PC realises they prefer feminine pronouns, etc (aware you have the option of coming out to friends and lunch but other progression could be commented on more specifically either within PC's internal narration, or as a stimulus for a TF in and of itself).

That's a good suggestion! It would be hot to add a quick scene where Corey stands in front of a mirror and realizes that they look androgynous. Or realizes that she's started thinking of herself as a girl (but will totally become a guy again after the curse).

1) More characters to date/hook-up with 2) a more slutty path, where you can date or hookup with just about everyone 3) More mental changes before the reality shift 4) more forced physical and mental changes. As I feel resisting is currently way to easy. By that I mean situations where you can avoid more changes. 5) more variety in the sex scenes. As in give us more choice in the sex act we can do in the existing scenes. 6) Give NPC's preferred sex acts. Maybe some like giving or getting oral, maybe some like vaginal, or some want to do anal. Not sure how you would do that and still give the player some control over the sex act as I suggested above. Maybe a limited willpower system that could be used to choose the sex act or maybe even used to resist changes, but have it slowly regen over time so you can't use it for everything. 7) More events/scenes with characters that was always likely my biggest issue with this game which I do love. A example with Griff you would go out and it always lead to the same repeating sex act etc. Though adding variety to them like I suggested above would help with this a lot. 8) This one might not be feasible, but when the reality change happens, maybe the witches mess up. It happens but it starts to effect some of the other characters. maybe one of the other guys changes to a girl, maybe one of the girls grows a dick etc 9) more strapon sex with the girls. 10) More scenes and events where the MC has to do more girly stuff and/or deals with how he feels about how things are going at the moment. Especially for the mental changes which I assume he would notice as he remembers how he felt before and now notices his change in likes/dislikes etc.

All good suggestions! Some of them aren't as feasible, but I agree that the male/resistance path definitely needs some love and the sex scenes need something to make them more interesting and unique. And adding more characters you can hook up with and having the MC notice their mental changes would help the world feel bigger and more realistic.

This is a 10/10 game which is then held back by a lack of sexiness and fun, and the love interests being a little gross for different reasons. I've just started my 4th or 5th playthrough on 1.7.1 and by the time of the first early dance, I realized the only appealing LI was Morgan (if she genuinely misses him, of course). That's a real problem. Possible solutions. Pre-curse, Griffin should be bi and MC should have some unexplored attraction or feelings about him. (Maybe Griffin is borderline pretty.) I think MC and Raven need some kind of charged sexual/emotional history under the surface they're both in denial about. As for Jessica, who is she? Why are they together? He says he's really attached to her, but she's eager to replace him. She gets much more interesting on her path once she "becomes" a lesbian, even though she insisted (convincingly) she wasn't into women earlier. Also she's kind of the foil to Morgan, who's the shallow bitch. So Jessica can't also be a shallow bitch (masquerading as a sweet girl). Unless you want MC to be secretly gay or bi and dating these girls for cover.

Those are interesting suggestions about the love interests. Having the MC start off as gay or bi would make it a much different game, and Jessica initially pulls back because she sees herself as attracted to men, and was attracted to you as a man. Maybe I need to do a better job making that clearer. I like the idea of giving Raven and the MC a history together though, and that could help explain why they could end up together even after she curses the MC.

As someone who is gender fluid, being forced into a gender role sucks, and just trying to maintain my bodily autonomy through the game is essentially the wrong path as told by the game. It'd be great if the other guy was supportive and not an asshole during the times we're trying to train together, but his whining and postulating makes him just a sucky friend and a vastly cringe male. He's not a team player with that mindset, so I have no interest in helping him out. The original girlfriend also acts a little selfishly on how the relationship works. Practically every npc I've interacted with has sucked on some level.

But hey, that's apparently the game, it's not trans-friendly, it's gender role forceful.

First of all, I'm sorry that my game made you feel that way. But YTLAG is a lot more flexible than a lot of other games in this genre. If you want the MC to be a male football player by day and get dolled up and go on dates with her partner at night, you can totally do that! You'll just have to be careful not to transform so much that you end up forced onto the reality change or trans path.
