The graduation finale scene was lifted from Cutie Pie to the point that DMD might want to send a cease & desist. MosBank have clearly modeled themselves off ZeeNunew (I won’t place any value judgements on that) as a CP and yes you can tell they thought they ate with this series….but where DMD (and Idolfactory, because you know they’re cribbing there too) at least has fun, something about StarHunter always skews cringe and un-self aware? City of Stars remains their best show for me thus far and it isn’t even close. It would be interesting to see how MosBank or any of their talent would do if loaned out to be in a similarly genre show produced by someone else (e.g. if they’d been in Pitbabe with Bank as Way and Mos as Pete) but it feels impossible and I’m not sure if they could hold their own opposite someone like Pavel.

2024-09-02 06:48:19 +0000 UTCIt was a fun series a little extra at times and to be honest I skipped over the Prim story. If I can say Sam facial structure is chisel! Gorgeous! Rooftop scene gave me Banky and Mos talking to each other. As I watched it I was imagining your reactions and it was 10 times funnier. Going to miss the Thai beyhive with their background vocals
