Small payment type update!
Added 2018-08-03 04:53:18 +0000 UTCUp until recently, Patreon would only allow creators to charge Patrons at the end of a billing cycle, rather than starting a billing cycle with a payment.
This seemed kind of backwards, but we were like "whatever, I guess that's how it works."
However, Patreon has just introduced "charge up-front." It seems to make more sense to do business that way, so we'll be switching to that method soon. Here's more info.
If what we have read is correct, this will not affect you right away regardless, and will take place during your NEXT payment. However, if anything weird or stupid happens as a result, let us know in the community section, or via Twitter, or by carrier pigeon.
