Theory time: The student prez guy tries to hit on Taem or becomes too forceful with Taem and she either goes to Yak for comfort, OR Yak intercedes right as the guy is trying to force Taem, which makes him late for the black tie ball thing with Dee and tha bastard Ter uses it to cause more doubt in Dee's mind about Yak Yei and Cher: at first I thought Cher might get hurt cause of the loan shar, but actually now I think that it won't be Cher who gets hurt. I think Yei will be the one hurt in retaliation. I think Yei has been betting on Yak's fight as a way to pay back the loan shark. Yak's loss means he still owes the loanshark.

2024-06-19 18:09:16 +0000 UTCDee and Yak: Don't have much to add about their storyline as of right now, but the first kiss was pretty good. Inn and Great's chemistry is top tier. It's amazing that this is actually the 1st time they acted together. Oh and call me a naive softy, but the scene where Dee reached for Yak's necklace that was no longer there, gave me the feels. Inn was so good in that scene I felt his pain. Also Great's scene where he told Dee he lost was also very good. I felt Yak's pain. I'm more interested in Taem. I was def feeling good friend vibes from her toward Yak, but now after the "almost" kissing scene, I'm thinking that Taem did have some feelings for Yak, but as his junior, maybe she was waiting for him to make the first move, but after seein him with Dee and the whole "necklace" of it all, she just bowed out. But the way she closed her eyes and didn't turn away at the almost kiss, tells me she had some feels for Yak.

Loved the kiss at the end because while he hurt no one really consoled him until he saw Dee. He was able to show his feelings without being judged. Yei did you bet on that fight to make money to pay back the loan shark and that’s why you were so mad? You didn’t notice he wasn’t himself and he was now wearing his necklace. Should have had a brotherly talk with him. Did you notice when Yei was yelling at Yak that was the Boston room from only friends

2024-06-18 02:36:30 +0000 UTCAs a person with a history of being unable to speak up for herself, I can kind of relate to Wandee in terms of not saying "no" to Ter. While I too wanted Wandee to say "no" to Ter and to just leave that situation, I got a sense that Wandee felt that either he COULDN'T or again, was just unable to say no to Ter. Also, not Ter basically GRABBING Wandee and pushing him towards the dinner table! There seems to be a sense of superiority and authority that Ter takes advantage of after 8 years of working with Wandee.

2024-06-16 01:48:19 +0000 UTCWhat a roller-coaster this episode was! But that kiss at the end was SUCH A PAYOFF!!!! YAAAASSSSSS!!! And them both realizing finally that they didn't feel anything for the people they thought they were in love with... so delicious. They may have ate at the end there, but we ALL were fed. Also, much as I think we all cheered for Yak when he punched the fluffnuggets out of Ter, in reality, all he should have done is remind Ter that: 1) he had 8 years with Wandee and at the end of those 8 years, he told him, I'm not into men and you're too boring for me. 2) used manipulation to try and get Wandee to give up the scholarship 3) impose his own standards regarding the presentation without really considering Wandee's opinion 4) allowed other hospital staff to talk shit about your "friend" because it would have benefitted you to make him look bad 5) instead of being happy that Wandee found someone to give him everything you wouldn't, regardless of whether it's real or fake, you try to sabotage that relationship because in your own selfishness, you are once again thinking that you actually want Wandee now, and therefore deserve to have him regardless of what Wandee wants 6) because at the end of the day, Ter is a fundamentally selfish, manipulative, backstabbing a-hole. If Yak had said all of that, I can imagine it would have snapped Wandee out of that moment and helped him realize just how good Yak was to him.
