2024-01-20 18:57:00 +0000 UTCWay fucked up by falling in love with Babe I think that is where the plan went off the rails. He developed real feelings for Babe so he didn't want to influence him because I think he believed in his heart Babe would return those same feelings if he waited. I think the fear of losing Babe prevented him from telling the truth earlier in their friendship if he did maybe then it would've been salvageable. But Way ultimately made the worst decision which was partly rooted in fear and motivated by desperation. The relationship seems one-sided but one person in the equation had a motive and an "agreed" outcome for such a relationship. So although Way's motive changed he still proceeded to make decisions for Babe. Way pissed me off but I understand the situation is not black and white and ironically mirrors Charlie's situation in ways. Both characters are stripping Babe of his autonomy to make decisions for himself.

I must say, the actors who play Babe and Way did such a great job during that scene...so good in fact that it made me really uncomfortable to watch that scene. Which makes sense because obviously, Babe was very uncomfortable at the thought of Way touching him after that massive betrayal. You could feel all of that emotion, from the fear of S.A. to the desperation of Way to have Babe and go back to however things were, to the choking noises Babe made when Way kissed him. You felt all of that. Such good acting. Side note, I know most of us were very busy enjoying the lockeroom scene, but did anyone else notice Charlie's 6-pack as Babe licked his way up Charlie's abdomen? Where the hell has he been hiding those things for crying out loud!!! We still have another 4 episodes to go, do I hope they don't start that annoying thing where plot lines start repeating. I hope they get to the point soon.
